I wasn't sure what to expect, but I have watched Guillaume dance for years and as a classically trained former dancer I can really appreciate what he is doing with his wonderful dance company. I saw his production of Hamlet last year and was blown away. Burn baby burn did not disappoint. His dancers are extremely talented and their technique is amazing. I am looking forward to more from Guillaume and his truly talented dance company. BRAVO!

I thoroughly enjoyed the performance. It seemed to start slowly and then build towards a crescendo, creating a palpable tension. And although the set was minimal, the juxtaposition of choreography, lighting, costume and music was used to expert effect. I loved the pounding beat of the music. I also appreciated the athleticism of the dancers and the passion they brought to their performances. There was an undercurrent of eroticism in the choreography that appealed to me. Quite thrilling, actually. It was visually stunning and struck an emotional chord. I have to admit that I am fairly new to the world of dance and especially, modern dance. But it was definitely an experience that I would recommend to others.

Was captivating from start to finish! Would see it again.

Loved the show, however it was a very short production. I was so entranced I wanted to see more. Will look forward to the next time this amazing dance Company performs again. Thank you

CoteDanse is Toronto’s newest dance company. The marvelously talented Guillaume Cote assembled a powerful and very impressive Toronto dance troupe. His choreographic talent is in full force with Burn Baby Burn - a must see!! Congratulations CoteDanse!! I will be following and cheering you on !!

It was very emotional for me, I Didn’t expect anything to go right that day but their performance was really well done. Much of cote biography work etc is on how mental health inspires him like in His Adieu if mental health isn’t obvious there. Something Showed Aries like me as both the threat and Aries at its strongest is young like a natural fountain is young, and the Aries be it the mooses populate not New or unaccepted from Aries at it’s best very young like a young fountain. It Was very emotional for me, I saw themes till midpoint Of suicide and bloodshed rescued by children.

Even for someone as uncultured as myself, this was a great show. The dancers athletic ability was mind blowing and everything about the show including the music and visual production was memorizing. In a word, it was stunning !

What an amazing show! The choreography was captivating and allowed for each of the nine dancers to showcase their own particular style and incredible skills. Their performance combined fluidity, sensuality, high energy and intensity in perfect unison.

Beautiful, unique, mesmerizing performance. The dancers, choreography, the strength and grace exhibited, the costumes, music, everything. Just beautiful.
