Beautiful venue and well organized tournament. Much thanks to volunteers, organizers, club members, and players.
Perfect mix of beautiful venue, very well organized , top women golfers
It was a bit disappointing not to be able to use a screenshot. So i had to download the Ticketmaster app. It was remarkably easy to put the tickets in the wallet and on game day I opened the events and there the tickets were for scanning. The app worked with ease. Easy to recommend.
Great to see the work ethic of professionals! Thanks
The merchandise was poorly designed and the quality looked below average. The concession has 1 brand of beer with 3 different flavours along with minimal selection of snacks. The golf was fun to watch however the event seemed to be very lacking in many departments. Hopefully they can improve the experience for fans next time.
Washroom where dirty and the area around the toilets
Well done. The course looked amazing. Kudos to everyone involved from Golf Canada and Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club.
Ticket set-up was perfect. Great event and well worth it!
Just an overall amazing experience. Stacked field in Vancouver and the girls played great golf! Got to watch Brooke Henderson play amazing as well!
The best golf swings in the world, bar non! Super high skill, power with a delicate touch. Nice to be so close to the action. These ladies are GOOD!
Ticketing, parking and shuttling was seamless. The course and volunteers were ready. So are the mosquitoes. Definitely fogging of some sort would have helped some of the players as it was definitely a distraction. Can’t say enough about the host venue as everything was well mapped and in place. Excellent sight lines and access around the greens. The few disappointments was shortage of food at concessions and the merchandise tent could have offered much more items for the golf nut.
The event was well organized and the atmosphere was positive and upbeat. I do wish there were more sponsors with merchandise but everything else exceeded my expectations!
Well organized tournament and friendly volunteers. Shaughnessy golf course is beautiful! It was so exciting to watch the pros especially up close.
This was my first ever live golf event...such brilliant talent to watch within feet, just great! Can't wait to go next time. Entry was so easy with the mobile app..finding my way around was simple. Found my way straight to merchandise tent as the mosquitoes were quite bad, but other than that I had a fantastic time.
Too bad the LPGA, CPGA or the golf course didn't make it better known in the media in the early days of the tournament that Shaughnessy Golf course was the breeding ground for all the mosquitoes in North America! It was unbelievable - at the Pro-Am, as you walked through the rough, the mosquitoes came out of the grass like powder. I got bitten 28 times on the legs and arms. If I had known, I would not have worn shorts and i would have brought bug spray! My second complaint was they made a big fuss about what you could/could not bring onto the golf course - no backpacks or purses bigger than 6 inches (really?), a drinking tumbler that had to be empty, a tool/chair but no cover for it, binoculars, but no cases allowed, no camera cases, no camera lens longer than 6 inches (did anyone have a tape measure at the gate?) Only one bottle of water per person. Then, when we arrived, nobody even bothered to check and through the day I saw people walking around with backpacks, big cameras (not press). Who made up these stupid rules? And, why have rules if you're not going to enforce them? On the good side, the transportation to/from the golf course from the parking lot at UBC was efficient, and the food onsite was reasonably priced. The grounds ticket was also reasonably priced. Would I go again the next time the LPGA is in Vancouver. Mmmm? I'm not sure - if it's at Shaughnessy Golf Course, definitely not. If it's back at the Vancouver Golf Club, definitely yes.
Great event. The golf course was in great shape, weather was perfect and the volunteers were fantastic! My only complaint was the lack of seating for regular ticket holders. VIP had lots of places to sit and watch but regular ticket holders were forced to stand all day. If you want to make golf more accessible and encourage fans to come out and watch, then you need to provide access to the viewing areas.
No paper copies re player start times. No cash inside for food or purchases. Some food vendors not able to keep up with demand. Too little signage re food outlets. Hard to be at an outdoor event that wants you going on and off your phone all day.
I was able to download my tickets and parking pass to the Ticket Master app then to my Apples Wallet making it easy to enter both. Seamless!
Very welcoming experience from all ! From parking to bus drivers to volunteers to staff very polite
The golf was excellent, but $11. 40 for two small bottles of water is ridiculous.
