  • This was one of the best shows of my life!

by Gerhard on 2024-07-15The Pearl Showroom, Pure Casino Yellowhead - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

With such an intimate setting, there wasn't a bad seat in the house. That being said, with a band this great, I recommend buying your tickets early, and paying the few extra dollars to get up close. Roberts is, as always, a bit reserved, which means if you want that engagement, you need to be close enough to see the subtleties, facial expression, hand gestures, etc. The band is super dynamic, quirky, and it is obvious that they are having a ton of fun! This was my first time seeing them live, and I would definitely go again.

  • Great Show

by Deb R on 2024-07-14The Pearl Showroom, Pure Casino Yellowhead - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

We were thrilled to be invited to the meet and greet and got a great picture of my son and I with the whole group. I hadn't seen them perform since 1999 at West Edmonton Mall. I missed Ellen performing A Little Something". But loved the songs they did sing. It might have been the size of venue or the stage but the sound Tech didn't capture clearly Brad or Ellen over the drums, who was behind plexiglass, I noticed, so maybe it was unavoidable. Still a thrill to be there and watch them perform.

  • Fantastic as always.

Just an outstanding band delivering a wonderful musical experience. Ellen Reid in particular is a special showperson, always generous and energetic.

  • awsome and entertaining

by Trash on 2023-12-28Club Regent Event Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

It was a great show, venue is awesome, sound is great. I has seen the Crash test dummies in early 1990s and Ellen's voice is that of an Angel. The band was entertainng and interacted well with the crowd

  • An enjoyable time

by Sid on 2023-12-26Club Regent Event Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

The band was fantastic, The only negative I experiencd was the lighting. In particular was the four vertical spotligts when shining pure white and were focused directly at our section in the audience, causing eye strain and forcing people in our section to direct their attention to the screen rather then the performers. Always thought the lighting should be directed at the performers.

  • Dummies still have it!

by GP on 2023-12-24Club Regent Event Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Crash Test Dummies sounded great! Brad and Ellen still have wonderful voices. Well done Dummies!

  • CTD never, ever lets you down!

by Espo1954 on 2023-12-24Club Regent Event Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

We absolutely loved this concert. One of the best ever! We've seen them several times and we just never get disappointed. The seats were perfect, and spacious. The music... superb. Can't say enough good things about it. We'll be back next year.

  • Dummies never missed a beat

by Silver fox on 2023-12-24Club Regent Event Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Like going back in time, the dummies were awesome. Vocals outstanding, show was the prefect Xmas gift for my wife. I give the show 5 stars but club regent needs to go back and redo the seating, leg room no issues. But the width of the seats waaaay to narrow. Also why are we sharing an armrest???? My shoulders are rubbing the guy next to me. More room guys.

  • Crash Test Dummies rock Concert in Winnipeg on Dec. 21, 2023

by Sandra M-S on 2023-12-24Club Regent Event Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic show in Winnipeg on Dec. 21! CTD’s rocked the house! Loved the dark interpretation of White Christmas and Jingle Bells! They played many favourites and featured Ellen more, which was wonderful! Venue is fantastic!

  • Amazing!

They were tip top, voices were amazing like they haven’t aged at all!

  • Bravo!

Was a great show. Everything we expected and more.

  • Really good show

by Da.vikar on 2023-12-24Club Regent Event Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Really enjoyed the show - just the right amount of Christmas flavour and the band sounded right on. Only 2 minor complaints - the sound guy who was 5 feet behind us turned it up to pain threshold on the one hard rocking song they did, but that’s kinda par today. Didn’t get to hear some of my funkier favs - there’s only so much you can expect in 2 hours

  • Great concert

by Heather W. on 2023-12-24Club Regent Event Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

This show exceeded my expectations by a mile. Although the seats are about as comfortable as airplane seating, the views from the 13th row were good, the sound was great and the band was fantastic. Non-stop hits and fun banter. Tasty beverages from the bar, as well. I wouldn't hesitate to snap up tickets to another Crash Test Dummies show or another show at Club Regent.

  • Disappointing

by WillyB on 2023-12-14Clarke Theatre - MissionRating: 3 out of 5

The band was good but either the venue was bad or the band didn't adjust their sound system appropriately. The base overpowered all the other instruments and vocals, making it very uncomfortable. There were a few acoustic songs that were much better.

  • Great show and their voices are still top notch

by Christmas warm up on 2023-12-13Clarke Theatre - MissionRating: 5 out of 5

Had a great night. Thought it was mostly christmas carols but they played all their great songs. Always wanted to see them in concert and now I have - terrific!!

  • #CTS forever!

by Sandra in Vancouver, BC, Canada on 2023-12-13Clarke Theatre - MissionRating: 5 out of 5

The #CrashTestDummies Jingle All The Way! performance at Clarke Theatre in Mission BC on December 10, 2023 was outstanding! This band always delivers and each of them become even stronger and more outstanding musicians every year. Brad was as wonderful as ever, even though at one point it appeared as though he lost power to his guitar. What’s up Clarke Theatre? However, without missing a beat, and being the consummate master performer that he is, Brad carried on! Once again #CTS brought tears and joy to every audience members hearts. A wonderful blend of Christmas and our favourite Dummies tunes. A five star evening! I definitely recommend the Jingle All the Way Concert this Christmas! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  • Marketing=bad, Show=Amazballs

by Dude on 2023-12-13Clarke Theatre - MissionRating: 5 out of 5

It wasn't just Christmas songs - The sample one that was with the marketing material certainly didn't sell if very well, not a great song. They did some classics, some holiday themed songs/versions, and some new material. A selection of songs, and an amazing time. If you liked them before, you'll like them still. Well worth it. We were lucky to notice it being offered. It was at a small venue, and at first I didn't believe it was the actual Crash Test Dummies, live, on stage.

  • Sound mix gone wrong

by Wendy on 2023-12-13Clarke Theatre - MissionRating: 1 out of 5

Left third sing in. Sound mix was so bad. The background singer was louder than the lead, and he is baritone 🤷‍♀️ Your placement of both keyboards and lead electric player in the far wings of the stage was crazy. Such a disappointment! Looking for my money back.

  • Terrific

by Lucky on 2023-12-13Clarke Theatre - MissionRating: 5 out of 5

I didn’t listen to this band in high school and only attended the concert because my wife casually brought it up. Honestly, the bands chemistry and stage presence was more impactful than the majority of tool concerts I’ve experienced. I love it when a band doesn’t need to rely on visuals (under the marketing of art) to make an amazing experience. I can’t wait for Crash Test Dummies to come back to town.

  • Overpowering Instruments

by Enzso on 2019-08-20Clarke Theatre Foundation - MissionRating: 4 out of 5

The band was great but the mixing had a lot to be improved upon. The instrumentals overpowered the vocals on every song. Was looking forward to really hearing Brad and Ellen's voices but they were washed away on the music.
