    CCR was electrifying

by Aloveofmusic on 2009-07-29Casino Rama - Orillia

When I purchased my ticket it was simply for a night out at a place I had never been before. Credence Clearwater Revisited made the experience absolutely brilliant. They were electrifying, personable, entertaining and accessible - not a bad combination. Rock on!

    CCR rocked the house!!!

    by Gia625 on 2009-07-29Casino Rama - Orillia

From the start to the finish, CCR put on an AMAZING show! Every song was as great as the one before it, hit after hit, bringing back some great memories of my hubby and me in our souped up purple '57 Ford. That 8 track player rocked CCR loud enough to wake the dead! Even though only the drummer and the bass player were original CCR guys, the rest of the band sounded like they were always there... especially the lead singer John Tristao.. he sounded so much like Fogerty - and I loved his energy and humour... he was fantastic. The lead guitarist was wickedly talented, and blue eyed Steve Gunner pulled it all together... Our seats were second row, centre, but we were up at that stage dancing the whole second half of the show. What a great night. I'm checking out where they're playing and can't wait to see them again!

    CCR - love these guys!

by KathBruce on 2009-07-29Casino Rama - Orillia

We've seen CCR two times at Rama Casino and they were fantastic both times. Me, my partner, my Mom, and my sister went and we all thorougly enjoyed ourselves. They know how to interact with the audience and have fun on stage. Totally worth the cost of the ticket and the time spent. Loved it!

    Creedence revived!

by Maxwell on 2009-07-29Casino Rama - Orillia

Great show last night. My wife & I really enjoyed the music. They bring you back to another time. We've been fans of CCR for a very long time. We saw them last year at Casino Rama as well. Even without Fogerty they really bring it all together. Song after song you can't help but join with the band & sing along. They make you want to jump out of your seat. I think my favourite of the evening was "heard it through the grapevine". They're lead guitarist put his own into it. That's the great thing about live shows. My only disappointment is the show was too short. Would love to see them again & again!

    CCR ((revisited))

by Kevinski on 2009-07-29Casino Rama - Orillia

These guys still have it after being together for 51 years. ((drummer and Bass player)). I do miss John Fogerty singing, but this guy they got can do it man! When I first seen him on stage I thought, Oh No. Then he started singing and the guy sounds just like John. The Bass player played a 5 string Bass guitar, they got an amazing lead guitarist. Its almost as if they got with the times a little bit. they still got it !!! Keyboard guy was pretty cool to0! (sorry almost forgot).

    CCR was fantastic!

by Zebcat on 2009-07-29Casino Rama - Orillia

CCR was the music of my youth. We played the records over and over. From the first bar of music that was played last night, all the lyrics just came flooding into my head. They sounded amazing and 'Cosmo' the drummer is pretty hot at 64 years old - great arms! Their new frontman, Bulldog was great and put on a little show of his own - he definitely helps with this re-invention of the band. The guitar sounds were quintessential CCR. I fell in love with this music all over again and had to create a new playlist on my MP3 player of all CCR stuff.

As amazing as every other time I've gone!!

by Cheeka on 2009-07-29Casino Rama - Orillia

Here is a band that includes a couple of 64 year old men that still after all these years, just enjoy playing their music to appreciative fans! What a thrill it must be for them when people rush the stage to dance and sing!! You know every song that they play and if you closed your eyes, you'd never know it wasn't John Fogerty singing lead vocals...Bulldog does an amazing job and he really gets the audience into it. I highly recommend spending the money for at least and hour and a half of high energy and great music and I will be waiting for their next visit to the area!
