DALLAS SMITH IN CONCERT:
Dallas Smith first rose to fame as the frontman of alternative rock band Default, but he's sure to rise even higher as a country rock solo artist. He's already earned comparisons to Keith Urban and Jason Aldean, and fans lucky enough to catch him live will have no trouble seeing why he's country's hottest new addition. Feel-good, hook-heavy anthems like "Trippin' Point" and "Slow Rollin'" are tailor-made for summer party soundtracks, and Smith delivers them perfectly at his live shows. A natural showman who delivers fast-paced, energetic performances, Smith never fails to have ticket buyers dancing in their boots all night long.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Vancouver-born Dallas Smith launched his music career as the frontman of post-grunge rock group Default, who enjoyed considerable success in the early '00s with their hit single "Wasting My Time". Despite the group's success, country music beckoned to Smith, and in 2012 he released his solo debut album Jumped Right In, a collection of guitar-driven country jams that landed five singles on the Canadian Hot 100. Smith racked up award nominations including Country Album of the Year at the 2013 Juno Awards and Male Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, and Album of the Year by the Canadian Country Music Association. If 2013 wasn't busy enough he also embarked on a sold-out Canadian tour with Bob Seger, played alongside Jason Aldean, and signed with Republic Nashville. His first U.S. single "Trippin' Point" was co-written by Florida Georgia Line's Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard and went platinum in Canada. Smith finished 2014 by touring with Florida Georgia Line and working on his highly anticipated sophomore album.

An amazing concert. Must see for any Dallas Smith fan
This was a great concert. Lauren Alaina was memorable for me and had great energy but the other opening acts were just ok. Dallas did a great job. The one criticism I have is the sound. The Baas level on the opening acts was extreme. Then for Dallas, the overall volume was extremely high. Almost to the point where we could not enjoy the concert. There is a point at which too loud = cannot hear the singer, and I think you reached it. It left all 4 of us with ears ringing afterwards. And no, this is not my first concert, try 20th. Maybe you should hire someone without damaged hearing to set the volume.
Great artists. There was to much of a delay between Michael Day and Dallas Smith. Good view, but hard seats, and each movement buy others in same row caused ALL seats in that row to move. I have arthritis in back and neck, so this movement was not good at all.
Dallas Smith is an excellent performer! Great songs, great voice, lots of fun. The venue was brutal. It took over an hour for any of our cars to move after the show. They had no police to manage traffic and decided to only let overflow parking leave first. So we sat in our vehicles for over an hour. For this reason I wouldn't go back. They need to address this complete lack of preparation. They know there will be 1500 cars leaving at the same time, it's not like it was a surprise.
It was great! Dallas Smith concerts are always amazing!
Dallas Smith was fantastic! Played all his hits and interacted with the fans.
Great show, good venue! Dallas Smith was really good and entertaining.
We were the first row seating. But I didn’t know they would have the front set up as a mosh pit. We couldn’t see the stage at all. I love Dallas Smith but I would have liked seeing the stage.
purchased the VIP upgrade and it was exceptional!!
What a great lineup. Lauren Aliana was great opener Michael Ray just added more! Dallas Smith was so energetic and sang all his great songs...such a great singer and so full of energy very engaging... got the audience going... had me dancing in my seat to every song!
The concert itself was great, Dallas Smith is always amazing, the opening acts were very good as well.
Had I realized that "general seating" was stand up only; I would not have spent the money. It was a great show, but could not wait to get out of there. Further, had I known that a smoking casino was right next door, I would have declined the show again. Doors were wide open in the halls between the casino and the event centre. Never again will I go to Grey Eagle. Too bad so many good artists go there, as it's the worst venue I've ever been at. And I've been to many.
I will never buy GA again standing for 3 acts is very hard on the back and feet. From now on I will get seats to sit in.
For the first two acts the sound was terrible, as soon as the drummers played any base it was so loud that drowned out everything, When Dallas Smith performed it was a little better but still not great
Was very loud . Dallas did a great job, Really put on a good show!
Can't beat a Dallas Smith concert! The guy brings it start to finish!!
Definitely near the top of my list of artists to see. Up there with the likes of Keith Urban, Jason Aldean & Florida Georgia Line. His songs are so great & the light show was fantastic! Plus the surprise guests he had sing were an added bonus. Already looking forward to the next concert!
It was a great event however way too many drunk individuals and with no seating, people were very inconsiderate about butting in front of you, trying to dance with each other in a very crowded space, spilling drinks all over.
Loved the opening acts and of course Dallas did a great job!
