DALLAS SMITH IN CONCERT:
Dallas Smith first rose to fame as the frontman of alternative rock band Default, but he's sure to rise even higher as a country rock solo artist. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Vancouver-born Dallas Smith launched his music career as the frontman of post-grunge rock group Default, who enjoyed considerable success in the early '00s with their hit single "Wasting My Time". Despite the group's success, country music beckoned to Smith, and in 2012 he released his solo debut album Jumped Right In, a collection of guitar-driven country jams that landed five singles on the Canadian Hot 100. Smith racked up award nominations including Country Album of the Year at the 2013 Juno Awards and Male Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, and Album of the Year by the Canadian Country Music Association. If 2013 wasn't busy enough he also embarked on a sold-out Canadian tour with Bob Seger, played alongside Jason Aldean, and signed with Republic Nashville. His first U.S. single "Trippin' Point" was co-written by Florida Georgia Line's Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard and went platinum in Canada. Smith finished 2014 by touring with Florida Georgia Line and working on his highly anticipated sophomore album.
I Just don’t understand why a person cannot hear any words either spoken or sung. I will only buy CDs or DVDs from not on, due to the awful acoustics. Also, my son was upset, as Megan Patrick was on stage, for maybe 20 minutes if that.
Only negative was being the front row and everyone in the out was standing so my view was obstructed
Concert started on time, with short time between band turnarounds. Sound was good could make out singers lyrics. Light show was average Dallas smith and his band were tight....great singer, loved his songs! Really enjoyed
Super cool to see so many talented musicians in one show! Loved it from start to finish! Well organized, ran on time and the energy amazing! Not sure who had more fun, the artists or the fans! Well done everyone!
I am a huge fan of Dallas Smith . His show was absolutely amazing . Vocals could not have been better . The concert was high energy and far surpassed even my hopes. As someone who has been to many concerts , this one puts it right at the top ! Can't wait to see him again
The concert was fantastic, each act was better than the next and it was nice to enjoy some up and comers.

The entertainment was top notch. The presentation felt like one big house party. Awesome! On the down side some Venue issues. The adult beverage line ups were way too long and to have no toilet paper in all the bathroom stalls after the concert was inexcusable! (Ladies washroom at section 109)
The show was fantastic. The service for food and drinks was horrible! So slow!!! There were lines at every single service area. The kiosk we went to had one lady pouring the drinks and the other taking the money. We were in the lineup for more than a half an hour and missed all the duets! I’ve been to several performances there before and never had that experience before. More servers needed! Would be a 5 star show if service wasn’t so overwhelmingly horrible!
All the artists were awesome. GA pit is where to be. Little hiccup with the GA mobile tix that caused a bit of a wait but that seems to be worked out for Rascal flatts as we've been notified already. Dallas , Dean, Wrecklaws, Chad Brownlee and Mackenzie Porter were so good.
Enjoyed Dallas and Dean Brody the most. They were amazing performers! I've been to lots of concerts and this was by far, one of the best.
I loved it other than the parking and the mayhem comes with it.
Dallas Smith is my favorite country artist. He never disappoints in concert. This recent performance was fantastic. The endless surprise guest artists was a treat that I wont soon forget.
Dallas Smith is a MUST-SEE! It was an extra bonus with Dean Brody & The Recklaws. Amazing music, lots of dancing, singing, having a good time with my girl Katie!
One of the better concerts I have attended. The Reklaws, Brody, Porter, Brownlee & Smith were at the top of their games!
Dallas gave an excellent show!! I would have liked to have seen him play longer but other than that he was amazing! I had a great view as he came to the side stage often. I loved that he played his older early hits especially jumped right in and lifted. He sounded great too, the sound wasn’t excessively loud thankfully and I could hear his vocals perfectly. Dean Brody gave a great performance too and I’m not even that fond of his music.
Show: super awesome. I have seen Dallas & Dean separately 5 times combined, and they nailed it together. Their guests were amazing, and would love to see them all again. Fantastic! Venue: Line ups were literally awful. Drink line took 45 minutes. Bathroom was 30+ minutes most of the time. No toilet paper in ladies after the opening act. Cabs were 0. Waiting almost 2 hours for a cab and no bathrooms anywhere - and not allowed back inside- was the worst part of the whole experience. Parking lot port-a-potties would not be a terrible idea for those who have to wait forever for a ride.
Dean Brody and Dallas Smith were fantastic. Great concert!
Loved the idea of the friends don’t let friends tour alone tour, great flow, high energy, there was something for everyone. I came from Toronto to the Vancouver area and was not disappointed by these great acts. Slightly disappointed in the venue and security however. While standing in line. A girl vomited all over the floor, security and venue personnel were notified but took at least 20-30 minutes to do anything about it and several people ended up slipping. The venue should have handled the situation much better.. but overall it was an amazing show put on by all the artists!!
Had a fabulous time at the Dallas Smith & Dean Brody Concert, Lots of great music!
