DALLAS SMITH IN CONCERT:
Dallas Smith first rose to fame as the frontman of alternative rock band Default, but he's sure to rise even higher as a country rock solo artist. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Vancouver-born Dallas Smith launched his music career as the frontman of post-grunge rock group Default, who enjoyed considerable success in the early '00s with their hit single "Wasting My Time". Despite the group's success, country music beckoned to Smith, and in 2012 he released his solo debut album Jumped Right In, a collection of guitar-driven country jams that landed five singles on the Canadian Hot 100. Smith racked up award nominations including Country Album of the Year at the 2013 Juno Awards and Male Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, and Album of the Year by the Canadian Country Music Association. If 2013 wasn't busy enough he also embarked on a sold-out Canadian tour with Bob Seger, played alongside Jason Aldean, and signed with Republic Nashville. His first U.S. single "Trippin' Point" was co-written by Florida Georgia Line's Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard and went platinum in Canada. Smith finished 2014 by touring with Florida Georgia Line and working on his highly anticipated sophomore album.
One of the best overall concerts we have attended. The entire evening was fantastic.. loved how it flowed.. and how the artists sang together. Thanks for putting on such an amazing concert.
It was a very fun concert. I loved that the Reklaws opened at the concert it was great.
The venue was very small and intimate which I loved, as we had reserved seating at the back but still had a clear view of everything. The talent itself was AMAZING. Definite worth the money

He’s amazing live. And this concert was amazing. I’ve never been to anything like it and I would love to see more shows like this where the artists mix it up rather than each play their own set and then their done. I feel bad for the people who missed half of it because they thought they’d just show up for the main acts, but that was probably the point of doing it this way.
I'm a Big fan of Dean Brody!! I was not at all disappointed, they sure did a different style of show.
This is the first concert I’ve been to that was longer than two hours and played all the songs I knew! Such a great night!

Dallas Smith is absolutely amazing in concert! He sounds fantastic and has so much energy that he keeps the audience engaged the whole time. I will definitely be back to see him at his next concert in Edmonton!

It was a great concert. I love that they amped everyone up with the dual performances at the beginning as well as the fact that it was ALL Canadian artists. I do wish we would have seen a bit more of Mackenzie Porter and Chad Brownlee as well, and that Dean Brody would have done Wildflower for his acoustic as that will be my wedding song next Aug 2020, but really there are no complaints! My fiance is not the hugest country fan but loves Dean Brody and he loved ALL of the concert.
This is the 2nd time I’ve seen Dallas Smith. He is such a great performer. Love his music...and I love that he always throws in a few of his Default songs.
I absolutely loved this concert. Dallas Smith has amazing energy. I loved how they weaved in Chad Brownlee and McKenzie Porter. The Reklaws were excellent as an opener. Dean Brody was ok too.

He was good but was very loud and his vocals sounded the same for every song in my opinion. Really enjoyed Dean Brody
The concert was excellent - To go to a concert and see 5 different bands for an affordable price makes the evening more enjoyable. Non stop music and hardly sat down. Knew most songs that were played. Loved It . Would go again.
Absolutely fantastic concert. I was on my feet singing and dancing the whole concert. Great energy, amazing artists, Very entertaining!!!!
I sang out loud I danced it was an all around great evening with both the the opening band and the main band.
