Daniel Romano Tickets

My first time seeing Daniel Romano and almost the first time hearing his music.. What a trip! Not only is he a super talented musician, with a really tight band, but he is mining a musical style that has been laughed off by folks my age as "not real music", and he is actually succeeding at it gloriously.. I have no doubt that Romano could move effortlessly into any other genre and be just as good. But there's something about old country that seems to enable him to take his lyrics in a really cool direction. There are no songs about cars or cows here.. He explores different faces of the question of love, marriage, chivalry.. All with an honesty that cuts right to the heart of what a great country song is. I can't wait to see him again!
