Deep Purple Tickets

As a lifetime fan of the band I was excited to learn they were coming to a venue in my area, and Ian Gillan would be at the helm. The show was fantastic and the crowd responded nicely. The sound man could have done a better job bringing Gillan's vocals out above the instruments - but as far as the band's sound they were tight and all members took the spotlight during the show at some point. We were so impressed with the show that we followed the band 5 hours down the road to see them again the next night!

I love Deep Purple and i love going to see concerts at Casino Rama. We had the best seats in the house on the floor. It was a great summer night. The only problem this august evening was Ian Gillan's vocals. The other musicians were great and played with enthusiasm. Poor Ian Gillan cannot hit the high notes or even most notes. He is unable to carry his voice for the screams and great vocal sounds in Deep Purple music. In every great song his vocals ruined our experience. I think it is great that many older rock stars are still touring but when one person is ruining it for the rest of the band and especially the audience he should retire. It is truely a shame that Ian can't sing anymore but if he cared about the music he' would step aside and let a new front man in. I was so disappointed with the show and we drove 2.5 hours to get to the venue.

Excellent show!!!!!! They played almost all of their old music which was awesome.. they played for almost two hours and their energy was contagious! Well worth the drive to Orillia..

Was an excellent show. Gillan still can sing and very good.

Deep Purple, like the old days. The train took off in high speed and delighted fans for two hours. Very little difference from 20 years ago: a little more white hair, shoes this time. Still, the Deep Purple train roared down the rails in force. Great concert.

The whole concert was amazing right from the get go. The music, the graphics, the acoustics, the special effects and the way the crowd reacted....WOW

Super show. Super experience. will go over and over to see it again.

loved the concert and the music was great and so were the seats and my son loved it to he also loved smoke on the water and hush

the show opened a bit muddled with Ian Gillian having a few problems reaching the high notes of his older songs....the newer stuff he could sing better as the show went on but opened with the wrong song and his voice just wasn't there......the camera angel on Don mostly showed his facial expressions and when it was his fingers it was the thin little monitors that ran parallel to each other....the should have put up a ceiling cam to show the drummer during his solo and key boards during his.....I don't need to see his face when its his fingers that are wailing......other than that they played a few oldies and wasn't bad for the bands age....don't sit in the first 4 rows of the third section as the glass was not clean and the images looked all smokey.....not to Rama....clean the glass partition if you intend for someone to look thru it. That was Rama's fault. otherwise not bad

would have been nice if the played more than 3 of there hits..

Not much to say - Deep Purple still rocks - One of the greatest rock bands ever!

Fantastic sound and great light show! Loudest I have heard there but so clear it was awesome!!!!!

We really enjoyed the show ,it was so enjoyable . We would go back again. It is weird seeing how old they are getting (the original) and play the same .So cool. And the audience was very good (not rowdy).

Too fast from one song right into the next. No audience interaction what so ever. The person next to us was loaded which was extremely distracting.

Awesome Band have been a fan since 72 man....and they still ( in my opinion)...best rock band in the world!...ran into Don Airey in Casino few hours afterward and he sat and chatted with the boss and I, great guy....great band man!

The seats were comfortable and plenty of room.The be band went on stage on time and sounded great

Finally see Deep Purple after all these years. Loved the sound though at times the lead singer was drowned out by the band. The classics were fantastic........The Jube is a great place to see an event as long as you don't that that person who stands up for each song in front of you.
