About

Def Leppard are a hard rock band from Sheffield, England and one of the best-selling music acts of all time. The group has sold over 100 million records worldwide and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019 with the current lineup of drummer Rick Allen, guitarists Vivian Campbell and Phil Collen, frontman Joe Elliott and bassist Rick Savage as well as former guitarist Pete Willis and late guitarist Steve Clark. Since forming in 1976, Def Leppard have released 12 studio albums, including their 1980 debut On Through the Night and 1996’s Slang, the first full-length effort featuring the band’s ongoing roster. Def Leppard are one of few bands to notch two diamond-certified albums, for 1983’s Pyromania and 1987’s Hysteria, which both peaked at No. 2 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200, respectively. Overall, the band have earned eight Top 10 albums led by 15 Top 40 singles such as “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Photograph,” “Rock of Ages,” “Animal” and the 1988 Hot 100 chart-topper “Love Bites.”

  • Amazing!

by Chance on 2024-08-12Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

What an amazing night! Three rock bands in one night! The whole experience was positive and fun. Def Leppard, Journey & Cheap Trick. Totally rocked out!

  • disappointed with sound

by Jmel on 2024-08-12Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

So excited to see all 3 bands - Cheap Trick, Journey and Def Leppard. Unfortunately for Cheap Trick the sound was NOT good (they sang great). Journey was a little bit better and Def Leppard was clear. Too bad as it would have been amazing if all 3 sounded clear.

  • Guitar Hero Antics

    by Citadine17 on 2024-08-11Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

Concert was way too loud with an over emphasis on guitar solos that were self-indulgent and went on foreverrrrrr. The venue itself probably contributed to the poor sound. Wonder if the Dome should have been open? It was a nice night and would have been so much better.

  • Sound was off

by Shanie on 2024-08-11Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Journey was incredible but Def leopards front man ended up with a throat issue i guess later.I knew something was up with his voice. Couldnt hit some notes. But the reverb was way too high ,and the sound was cranked too loud. I had seen green day the day before and the sound system was much better that day. So i felt disapointed in the quality of the sound.

  • The best show ever

Everything is organized and it’s pretty easy to buy tickets

  • Just as good as ever

by Pontiki on 2024-08-08Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was a night full of fun. Def Leppard members all sounded and looked great, with cool outfits and lots of energy. The show included all their best hits, and some really good new material, which is exciting to discover. Journey was A 1, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about no Steve Perry, though it’s been a long time, but hearing Arnel Pineda live was incredible. His voice is just super, unique, but similar enough that it wasn’t jarring, but rather a refreshing sound on the best songs. Cheap Trick were good, but I’m not sure if it’s the stadium or their sound, but something was off. They did a good set, and ended with some of their best, but it was probably about a 3/5 for me. However, the other two bands both made up for that in spades, hence the 5/5 rating.

  • Def leopard

    by Michael77 on 2024-08-08Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Cheap trick was not good. They were pit of sync. Could barely understand what they were singing. Journey put on a fantastic show. Non stop energy interaction with the fans... def leopard was great. Sounded great.

  • Best concert ever!

by Skatemalo on 2024-08-08Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Took my daughter and niece for their first concert and our experience was unbelievable didn’t have to wait too long for entrance and was the best concert ever. Although was very disappointed that Heart who was my favourite band and Steve Miller didn’t play.

  • If they come back to Toronto, we will be back

    by Brit0Brit0 on 2024-08-08Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

by Tricia on 2024-08-07Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was the best concert ever. Everyone was big time into the music. I danced all night. Haven’t had a better time in years.

  • Sound

by Anonymous on 2024-08-07Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Sound was not great especially for cheap trick. Singing sounded muffled at times. There was an tinny sound

  • They've still got it!

by LLH on 2024-08-07Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

What a great time! Def Leppard is part of the soundtrack of my youth and they brought that same energy to their show last night. We sang, danced and hooted until we lost our voices! I'd definitely go see them the next time they're in town.

  • Terrible.

by Not Happy. on 2024-08-07Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

If you want to see a concert, I would suggest that you don't go to the Rogers Centre in Toronto if the only seats that are available are in the 500's level. The sound is terrible and you can't understand the vocals as they bounce off of the roof. Was expecting a great concert with Cheep Trick, Journey and Def Leppard but was very disappointing.

  • The band did an excellent job. Great night out

by Cuuldude on 2024-08-06Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

They played alot of the songs that were my favorites

  • Def Leppard still awesome

    by Cathy L on 2024-08-06Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Def Leppard still sounds fantastic. The sound system at Rogers Centre could definitely use an upgrade though.

  • Wow!!!

Fricking amazing! Both Journey & Def Leppard! What a night!!
