I'd recommend anyone to go see the Deftones live - fan or not. You'll become a fan by the end of the show. Great amosphere! The Commodore is the best venue in Vancouver. It had probably some of the most passionate fans I have ever seen. Great set list - focused on the Diamond Eyes album but also played all of the classics. This is a show definitely worth staying down on the floor for. They played for almost 2 hours. Dillinger Escape Plan was a great opener. I'd probably only appreciate their music in a live setting. I loved the contrast between the two bands. I'm not a fan of the opener and headliner being two similar.

Deftones played a lot of their hits from their first few albums which was AMAZING! The harmonics were awesome. They sounded great. The venue allowed for ample vision no matter where you stood (at the Rapids Theater). I am very impressed and very happy:)
