Pioneering synth-pop band Depeche Mode have sold over 100 million albums and played to over 35 million fans worldwide. Depeche Mode was formed in 1980 by Andy Fletcher, singer Dave Gahan and keyboardists Martin Gore and Vince Clarke. The band released their U.S. breakthrough in 1984 with the platinum-certified album Some Great Reward, which included iconic songs such as “Master and Servant” and the Billboard Hot 100 Top 20 hit “People Are People.” By the ’90s, Depeche Mode became one of the most popular bands of the alternative music boom. Their triple-platinum album Violator (1990) became a smash hit that spawned alternative classics such as "Personal Jesus” and "Enjoy the Silence.” Over 40 years after their formation, Depeche Mode continues to be a touring force; the band’s 2017–2018 Global Spirit Tour grossed over $202 million. They were also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020. Following the tragic passing of Fletcher in 2022, Depeche Mode forged ahead with their 15th studio album Memento Mori in 2023 and a massive world tour, and remain as influential as ever.

Second time seeing Depeche Mode in Vancouver, one of the best experience in my life!
Had seats beside the stage and they were perfect! Loved how the band was totally engaged with the crowd! Loved how much the crowd showed their respect & love to the band as well! I would not hesitate to go to another one of their concerts!
My first concert so I was blown away lol! (I would've been impressed anyway). The venue was impressive. The crowd was awesome and Depeche Mode was spectacular! It was a dream come true.
Was a dream come true to see Depeche Mode. The set list was amazing, I danced all night!! It surpassed my expectations.
Well, having listened to this band's music for 40 years now, to have the opportunity to enjoy a live show I could not pass up. Well, I was blown away by the stage presence, music and visuals. The venue is wonderful for concerts, in my opinion. All of it, besides the very expensive prices for food and water, was easily a ten out of ten rating. Even the merch, despite that cost, was plentiful and varied. Kudos to all involved in putting together this concert together. I salute you!!!
I discovered Depeche Mode 15 years ago and never had the chance to see them live on stage. Their performance blew my mind. Both Dave Gahan and Martin Gore put everything in the show. They are truly legendary. The visuals were also amazing and sound quality was excellent. The only issue with that night was the constant techno music for more than an hour before their concert. I also didn't like the opening act called Young Fathers.
I'm 64. My wife and I loved every song performed...new and old! Great energy and vocals from Dave and Martin. The Edmonton audience was a fun mix of young and old singing and dancing for over 2-hours! Our first time seeing Depeche Mode live and hope it's not the last!
Depeche mode were my favorite bad since early teenage years. They are still in an incredible shape, their voices are beautiful, and the track list will not leave old fans unhappy. Everyone got a chance to dance to their favorite songs, and they performed both the mainstream famous songs and tracks that are less popular yet very important to many fans. They enjoy that they are here, alive, they celebrate the life of Fletch, and they are good regardless of their age and give their all to the audience and the concert. I've been to many live shows by my favorite bands. And there is something that is hard to describe about show that is not derived from just the music and sound quality. It's the performance and energy that matters, it's a social or para-social interaction with the band and the fans, and fans-to-fans. It was incredible, DM, unlike many other good ol' bands, have fan demographics that include actually a lot of young people like me. I didn't feel like I went to a concert with boomers or gen x. There were kids, teenagers, young adults and adults. Some had their whole families there, with 14 years olds vibing and singing every song along their moms and dads with the same attitude, energy, and knowledge of lyrics. DM are beyond age, they make music for all and make everyone dance. Highly recommend it, amazing people, beautiful songs, it's Depeche mode
35 years after seeing Depeche Mode for the first time live, they are still just as incredible! One of the best shows I have ever. Still one of my all time favourite bands.
Absolutely amazing show. Depeche Mode never disappoint.
Depeche Mode surpassed my expectations!! Highly recommend going to see them!!
Best concert ever!!! I have been a fan since I was 14 years old with never missing any of their shows in Vancouver. These guys still put on amazing show!
Music was perfect i.e. did not hit the distortion level. The lead singer is in wicked shape and very naughty. LOL loved it!!
Stunned but not completely surprised. I have seen every Depeche Mode tour and this by far was one of the best! Emotional, sexy, perfection! The sound was crisp and clear. They looked like they had a really good time and the crowd was fantastic!
The concert started at 9pm instead than 7 which was pretty bad to start with. Even worse was the opening band Young Father's. Horrible music and voice. To end it all up we had the Depeche Mode performing pathetically. In 1.5 hours they sang perhaps a couple of their greatest hits. The music they played was so bad that we ended up leaving the concert! They may have played some of the greatest hit at the end...we don't know as we left. All we know is that we wasted 1k to get to this concert from Victoria. A great disappointment.
I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Depeche Mode #MementoMoriTour at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada, and it was an unforgettable experience. As a long-time fan of the band, I was thrilled to witness their remarkable performance. The concert showcased the immense talent and energy of lead singer David Gahan and guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist Martin Gore. Gahan's stage presence was captivating with his dramatic baritone voice that hasn't lost any of its power over the years. It was truly mesmerizing to see him command the stage with such confidence and charisma. Gore's tenor vocals and guitar work added depth and intensity to the band's iconic sound. His skillful guitar solos were a highlight of the show, showcasing his versatility as a musician. The setlist was a perfect balance of nostalgic hits and tracks from their latest studio album, Memento Mori. The crowd was ecstatic, singing along to every word and dancing to the infectious beats. It was a concert experience that will be cherished by fans for years to come.
Spectacular ! Amazing voices and music!! Hope they come back to Vancouver.
