Dermot Kennedy is more amazing live than you could even imagine
Dermot was absolutely incredible! Couldn’t have asked for a more sincere beautiful performance! His voice gives chills.
Great concert! He sounds exactly the same as his album. Intimate and filled with emotion and energy. UBC stadium good. Dermot started at 9 pm and played for 1.20 hour. Will definitely go again.
The attention to detail of the visuals projected during each song was amazing. It definitely made the experience that much better. Dermot also just put on such a good show. Every song was beautiful and he put so much emotion and passion behind everything. Would see again in a heartbeat.
Dermot's performance was incredible. Fantastic voice, engaged the crowd, paced the gig well. The acoustics at the venue weren't great, but it is a hockey arena after all! I reckon Dermot's voice would be even better in a room designed for music.
Dermot is absolutely unbelievable live. The show started on time and was the perfect length. He is an amazing performer and his voice is so raw and beautiful - one of those artists that somehow sounds even better live. My only wish was a nicer venue for him and to be closer. Next time!!
The venue ran out of nearly everything (drinks) before Dermot even got on stage. Ticketmaster tickets said doors at 8 yet at 830 the opening act was already signing autographs... Acoustics aren’t BC Place bad, but they are not on par with Rogers or smaller venues Huge line up for buses afterwards with almost zero taxis available
Dermot was so incredible live! Most certainly “an evening I will not forget”!
I live in terrace bc it’s hour half flight to Vancouver! and it was all worth it to see dermot Kennedy!!!! He was amazing life!!!
Best concert I’ve ever been too. DK sounded amazing, loved the screen and light show. Band was super enthusiastic. Recommend to everyone!
Dermot put on an absolutely beautiful performance. He wrenched hearts, jerked tears, inspired minds, and chorussed voices together. Never stop, Dermot.
Concert was great. The venue however (Doug Mitchel @ UBC), was the worst venue. Apparently their licence to see liquor ends at 930 BUT that included water... I wasn't drinking, b6it wanted a wa6yer and got turned away.
The concert was great. He played almost all his songs, talked a lot and interacted with the audience, and sounded SO GOOD live. So happy I went!!!
Great performance! The hour wait for dermot definitely wasn’t enjoyable tho
I cannot say enough about this show! It was better than I imagined. His lyrics got me through one of the hardest times of my life. I lost my dad last month and listened to Dermots music through it all. I cannot say enough about this experience. The friend I went with, we both bonded and grew our friendship over our mutual appreciation for his musical talent. Friendship and a reminder of my dad, what more can I ask for in music.
Second time seeing Dermot and he definitely didn't disappoint. However, REBEL is not designed for concerts and it was quite difficult to see, even being midway through the crowd in GA and being an above average height woman. Enjoyed his concert at the Danforth more simply because I could actually see due to the angled floor.
No need to tell more. He's heaven sent. The crowd talked way too much while he speak but the show is like 11/10
Great performance...opening act TALOS suprising good.....Mr Kennedy give a great performance at Mtelus sold out show...It was a privilege to be part of this evening Great setlist new and old song... For me the best song live was For Island Fires and Family and of course the last song After Life....
It was the kind of night that you feel you have gone trough all the emotions possible. It was a therapy. He has an beautiful emotional intelligence that left me speechless
I loved Dermot Kennedy, What I didn’t like was people were talking when Dermot was speaking. It was very rude.
