  • Dirty Dancing

    by Thisisridiculous2 on 2018-05-16Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 1 out of 5

I was very disappointed in the performance at the Abbottsford center. I take my kids and grandchildren to shows. 8 tickets. The performers were like little ants on the stage and there were no big screens to be able to see. I will never purchase another ticket at Abbotsford center for a play again.

  • Dirty Dancing Musical worth it.

Took the wife for mother's day gift and it was definitely worth the money. I would go again. Excellent voices. Good seats lower stands. Womens bathrooms had huge line ups but they always do.

Felt that it was very well casted. Sound was great. Was not that happy with the venue choice as I think it would have been better in a smaller venue like TCU. I went to the show with my daughter and we both enjoyed it very much?

  • Amazing performance.

This was a birthday present for my wife and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The acting, singing and dancing were incredibly entertaining. I would definitely see this show again.

  • Dirty Dancing is spectacular!

by HotMessMom on 2018-05-13SaskTel Centre - SaskatoonRating: 4 out of 5

The cast of Dirty Dancing was amazing and the show itself was spectacular. The props and computer screens were so professionally done, it made me feel completely immersed in each scene. However, I spent the night straining my neck, hopping from butt-cheek to butt-cheek trying to see over the audience members in front of me. The seats were horrible and uncomfortable, despite the amount of money I paid.

Way too Cheesy. This is not a recommended show. Saw lots of people leave at intermission and not come back.

  • It was ok

The cast did an amazing job, loved the way everything flowed together. I had no idea what to expect coming into it. I would definitely see again!

Needs to be in a stalker centre though. Or put screens up.

This was the worst show I have ever seen. The acting was bad, the singing was bad and the venue was terrible. We left at half time with no regrets.

  • Dirty Dancing was 'OK'

by Blasch on 2018-05-10Sandman Centre - KamloopsRating: 3 out of 5

There was no 5 minute warning light at the start, so people were scrambling and stumbling in, trying to find their seat(s). A mish mash of turbulence for at least 15 mins..people talking, flashlights, cell phones and general fluffing while the late ones settled down, meanwhile, we were trying to listen to the play. Then there was the smell of old oil from the deep fryer for donuts and french fries, the sound of corn popping and the vendors making noise. The sound from the actors was loud enough but the actors were still trying too hard to talk loud making the conversation choppy..it just did not flow. Then Security had to come by and hush the people behind us because they were talking very loud as they must have thought this was a hockey game because it was being held in the ice arena. Terrible terrible place to hold a play like this.

Poor stage set up. Very difficult to see from my seat. Would have been much better at our local theatre
