Toy Story 3 was a blast!

    by Buttons1955 on 2011-11-29Pacific Coliseum - Vancouver

What a great show! My husband and I took our two granddaughters who are 41/2 and 51/2 and they loved the show. We all thought it was wonderful and are so happy that we got to see it! The skaters were amazing!

    Disney on ice

by Runteach on 2011-11-29Pacific Coliseum - Vancouver

I really enjoyed this event. The costumes were great and the storyline was based on the original, but changed slightly..there were even a few jokes for the adults.

The wife and I both 51 years old, took two of are grandchildren, a six year old boy and a two and half year old girl, all of use thought the show was incredible, the only thing we thought they charged a lot of money for everything once inside, the average family won't be able to a ford such a beautiful show, lots of empty seats!!! This is the second show for the wife and I and our grandson, we have three grandchildren in total, it would be an expensive day for all of use to go.

    Enjoyable for all ages!

by alleur on 2011-11-29Pacific Coliseum - Vancouver

It was well organized, timed efficiently, and all around an amazing show!! It really didn't matter where you sat because the view in all different angles would still look amazing. The whole show really touched base on all 3 movies of Toy Story which made it that much more enjoyable because they didn't leave any important facts out. (ie. when Jesse was introduced to the movie...etc)

    Disney doesn't do anything small

by Pappagiorgio on 2011-11-29Pacific Coliseum - Vancouver

It was amazing. I can't believe people can do those things on skates. I reminded me of a broadway musical. It was like they were dancing on skates.

second half got a bit boring. The show played more to the audience on the sides instead of straight ahead. Last years show we had seats on the side and the show all was facing forward. This time was the opposite.

    Cheeky & Fun

by NanaimoParentalUnits on 2011-11-29Pacific Coliseum - Vancouver

Again another great show by Feld Entertainment in their Disney On Ice productions. A little too much focus on Barbie & Ken although I liked the whole wardrobe show part. Would have liked to have seen something with Bonnie and one of the characters from her room. As with any of these events the merchandise and concessions are extremely overpriced. For those of us on Vancouver Island it makes to be a very expensive outing once you factor the Ferry cost in. Hopefully Victoria will get these shows in the future :)

Toy Story 3 On Ice 2011

    by Vancouver5170 on 2011-11-29Pacific Coliseum - Vancouver

This is probably our 5th year taking the kids in two families to see Disney on Ice events. As usual, we were not disappointed! In fact, this may have been the best show to date as it followed only one movie unlike the Princess ones which follow all the characters & their movies. I will say that I find the cost of Disney food items atrocious - $24.00 for a bucket of popcorn and a stick of cotton candy?! Overpriced on that front and all our friends who also went to see the show had the same complaint. Otherwise, great value for the show - just come prepared to spend a LOT more money!

    Another great Disney On Ice

by austinbella on 2011-11-29Pacific Coliseum - Vancouver

This is the third year we've taken our kids to Disney on Ice (now 5 and 3) and they absolutely love it every year. This year, Toy Story 3 didn't disappoint. I enjoy watching their faces more than the show, though the show is entertaining for kids and adults. In typically Disney style, the show is very well produced. You should know that attending will empty your wallet (again, in Disney style, they are great at merchandising), but it's worth it. Our kids talk about it for months afterward. Our kids got a little scared at one point when Zurg came out firing his lazer gun, but it was very brief and they got over it. Overall, another great Disney on Ice show.

    Toy Story 3

    by Georgie2 on 2011-11-29Pacific Coliseum - Vancouver

I bought these tickets in good faith for my grandson age 5 and my husband. We paid the second lowest price which actually was rather outrageous, of $35.00, No compensation for child or senior. The seats could not have been WORSE. Apparently right at the top, behind a wall Did want to order the tickets by phone to discuss seating, but totally impossible. All has to be done via internet. Upcharge as well to have the tickets emailed. Tried to pick up at my local outlet, but they have neglected to advertise that they are a Ticketmaster Agent (Park Royal West Vancouver). NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL!!!!!

Great show! ..but not quite what expected

    by Momof4kids on 2011-11-29Pacific Coliseum - Vancouver

My 3 girls (3yrs, 5 yrs, 12 yrs) and nephew (3yrs) all loved the show. We were expecting something more true to the Toy Story 3 story line, but it was in fact more of a mash of TS1, 2 & 3. The multiple songs by the soldiers were a tad redundant.. one would have been great. Overall, great costumes, loved the music and the performances were entertaining. Ken's wardrobe change and the hoedown were jackpot for the kids. Loved it! (A two hour show including intermission.)

Disney in Ice was cute - Toy Story 3

by KatJ on 2011-11-29Pacific Coliseum - Vancouver

The event was well thought pout and choreographed - the story was a trimmed version of the film. Lots of fun if you are a Toy Story fan. Personally - I like last years show better where they had more Disney characters and different story lines and scenes. What was disappointing was the limited characters - just really the ones form toy story - and a few moments with the classic characters like Mickey. My child asked where the other beloved characters were.... Overall good - as is any Disney on Ice - but I would have preferred a different more varied theme.

    Toy Story 3

by frane on 2011-11-28Pacific Coliseum - Vancouver

Took my 2 granddaughters (6 & 4) to see Toy Story 3, it was disappointing in that it was more a skating display then a good story. We saw the Tinkerbell show the last time and it was far superior.
