What a disgraceful display of aggresive marketing........every which way you turned, we where 'confronted' by toys, drinks, lights......everything three or even four times more than it was worth. kiddies drinks $12.00...the kids where going crazy, wanting everything they saw, 'of course'......as if the tickets were not expensive enough. The venue was horrible, the seats where so tight together we could'nt fit our legs in and I'm only 5'3" tall. The guy behind us complained all the way thru, it must have been painful for him. The show was great for about 15 minutes, the kids were so excited to see all the toys come onto the ice...then it slowely got more boring for them. We, the adults enjoyed the fantastic skaters, but 3 of our 5 children fell asleep. Over rated and over priced, I certainly would'nt go again. I used to take my children every year to the Ice Capades, and they used to have audience participation and invite some of the kids to join them on ice, I specifically remember my kids being taken in a boat on ice one year and santa's sleigh another time. This time, the kids in the audience were frantically shouting out characters names and at no time did they ever skate around and wave or communicate with any of the audience, the show had no room for any spontaneous reaction. The usual disney characters; mini, mickey & goofey waved to everyone as they came onto the ice and at the very end they all skated around and waved to the kids, but half of the kids had lost interest and the people in front and behind us had already left. We actually took the empty front seats so we were'nt so cramped.
