  • Peter pan made her day!

    by Lovesdisney1026 on 2011-02-26MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

The show was amazing. We had awesome seats. The best part of the show was when Peter pan came and slept in the corner of the stage. He looked at my niece and she waved at him. Well he actually it and waved back. He made that little 4 year old whole night. She is still talking about it and it has been 4 days. Thank you so much for taking the time to be friendly and make a little dreams come true. Awesome show and we will be coming for ears to come!!!

We had a wonderful time. Bought the tickets for a Christmas present for the grand children. Would go again in a heart beat! Been to Disneyland so this was a great treat for the grandchildren and us, brought back some great memories! For a nice family night out, great value for the dollar!

  • Even better than last year!!!

    by peanut007 on 2011-02-25MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

I took my 7 month old, 3 year old daughter & niece. It was absolutely mesmerizing. They girls were dancing, singing along pure excitement on there cute little faces. My son was more stunned but loved it as well. It's the little things that make life and how excited the girls were to be there and to see there favorite characters is truly one of them! The show it self was definitely better this year, not that last years was bad.Just more amazing. We will be going every year until the kids don't want to go anymore (maybe forever :) Wanted to put this in the seats review but was to long.I Didn't like the guys walking around selling stuff would come down the aisle and crawl over the barrier and hit me in the head every time with there product. If they would have gone down the other side there was an opening between the barriers down to the ice.Was not impressed

  • Skating was very good, but content rather boring.

by Anonymous on 2011-02-25MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 2 out of 5

in spite of the fact that we had 2nd row fl. seating, we could barely see the show as the second row was only slightly higher than the first and it was impossible to see over the heads in front of us. In comparison to previous Disney on Ice performances I have seen the content was not nearly as good, I personally had a hard time getting into it, especially the second half, but that may have had alot to do with not being able to see well. Definitely not the same effort as previous performances. Felt for the ages of the children there the content was a bit 'over their heads' with Peter Pan.

  • Disney on Ice a great show!

by Sugarray on 2011-02-25MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Disney on Ice, as always, kept my kids and us as parents very entertained. It flowed very well and kept us watching with anticipation to see what would happen next. A couple scary parts which they could have done without though. I would recommend this show to everyone that has young children. Very, very good. We also bought a parking pass through ticketmaster which we had never done before nor will we ever do it again. We paid $7.50 online and when we got there found out it was only $7.00. What the...why would I buy online next time then? Doesn't really make much sense!!!

  • Same Show year after year after year

by silvertopaz on 2011-02-25MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 1 out of 5

I have been going to Disney On Ice for a very Long time and they still have the same show and nothing changes. Lilo & Stitch came out 2002 don't you think they should change it up my boy didn't even know who they were and they still sell the same Stitch cup. I don't see us going back next year unless there is something new.

My 5 year old nieceand I had a great time at this show! She LOVED ariel and the mermaid sisters! We had a great view of the whole show at all times and we did not pay much for our tickets. All in all the event was very well done and we would go again next year.

  • Disney on Ice is Great but Toys way too expensive

    by rocket62 on 2011-01-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Took my 5 year old grand daughter to see Disney on Ice. She was amazed and loved every second of it. The $10 slushie wasn't very good ( over half was thrown away ) and it was very distracting so make sure your child has time to eat it before the show starts again. And as for paying $20 for a $3 toy , I guess it is stimulating the economy but I think it is just Roger's Centre and Disney taking advantage of an audience held captive ( not allowed to leave and come back, not even to your own vehicle that is parked inside the building ) knowing that we don't want to have to explain to our little children that the price of the tickets were too high for me to afford the toy wand too. Oh well, Grandma, eats a little less this month

  • Disney on Ice is Fantastic!

by blondiedondon on 2011-01-20Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Disney on Ice was great fun for the entire family. Refeshments are way overpriced ($10 for lemonade or cotton candy $15 for bucket of popcorn) and show could be longer. Kids were dissapointed that it was over already only 2 hrs with an intermission.

  • Fantastic show!

  • Mickey and Minnie's Magical Journey

by ritzcrackers on 2011-01-06Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Overall the show was great. My 4yr old really enjoyed herself and was sad when it ended. The only problem I found the the high prices of all the merchandise and food. To take a picture and put it in an Ariel frame cost me $18.00! I just bought a memory card that holds 1500 pictures for my digital camera and I only paid $10.00. And then popcorn and a drink cost me $10.00. I just wish Disney would realize that although the merchandise is great, we are already spending a fortune for a ticket and to get to the show and then it feels like they take advantage of the parents once we are there with all the in your face merchandise that the kids are all begging for. Other than that, the show itself was great, although I do wish that Mickey and Minnie were a bigger part of the show, in total, they maybe came out for approx. 10 mins. However, I would recommend this to anyone who has kids under the age of 10.

  • It was good show

    by disney123 on 2011-01-06Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

It was good show overall but not impressive. I have seen this show few years ago and I remember it was very impressive. But this year was just fine....My daughter still loved it.

  • my daughter looooved it!

by kstaff on 2011-01-04Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I remember seeing Disney on ice as a child and I was not disappointed 20 years later. My daughter loved the characters and the audience interaction, especially the part where she helped Tinkerbell (one of her favourites) get better by "believing" in her!

It was really fun! I'm in my 20s and went with a few friends. It's a show for all ages. I loved the Disney Classics parts, like Lion King, Little Mermaid, and Peter Pan, but I'm not familiar with the newer movies so that part seemed a little lengthy. I was sitting pretty far back but still could see everything. The show is designed so that you could see from all directions, and not just the center. Overall, it was very enjoyable and brought be back to my youth.

Good show for a younger audience. Had great seats so it seemed bigger than life which is the point if you ask me. All in all my daughter had a 'great day' as she put it!

We take my granddaughter every year and this year was just as fantastic as the first time. The show never fails to delight us! We loved taking the journey with Mickey and Minnie and their friends.
