  • mickey mouse magical journey

by minmin on 2011-01-04Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

I have been to Disney on Ice for years with my children who are now 30 and 23 and this was our first time with our grandaughter.I was quite disappointed as my Grandaughter loves Mickey and Minnie mouse and they were the ones you seen the least of on the stage...I thought the sound was poor, the stage effects were mininmal...Over the years we have been to some great shows but this one was a true disappontment...sorry

Beautiful costumes. Very well done. All the entertainers had smiles on their faces. My little people loved and believed in what they were seeing.

Great show. I made sure to have my child watch Peter Pan and Lilo & Stitch prior to the show. It's more exciting for the kids if they know the characters skating in the show. Overall, great show for the price we paid.

The show was average, nothing to write home about. At no point in the show was there a WOW moment.

We attended with our 5 and 7 year old granddaughters and enjoyed the show very much but were disappointed how expensive all the souvenirs and snacks were.

  • Expected with disappointment

    by CC22 on 2011-01-04Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Mickey and his friends weren't the main focus on the show. The show needs improvement, maybe having an opening focusing on Mickey and his friends for a longer time would be better. For the other parts I think they shouldn't be telling the entire story again of each character, maybe they could mixed them up and make a new story and make it interesting. For my daughter who is 4 years old she was definitely disappointed because Cinderella wasn't there, and not just my daughter, the little girl who sat in front of us was disappointed too because she was expecting Snow White, she was all dressed up as Snow White too. I think for the Princess part they've could have done is to introduced all the most popular Princess all at once at the same time and make them sing and dance all together. I liked all the other characters on the show too but some of the part it did feel boring, not much to see, sometimes the skating ring felt empty to me. And for the last story which was focusing on Peter Pan I think it was too long, they've should have shorten it and left more time for Mickey and his friends for Closing show.

  • It was expected with a little disapointment

    by CC22 on 2011-01-04Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Some parts it felt long and boring were. The choice of characters for the show could be more interesting. We liked the part were Lumiere was singing under the Sea to Ariel, it did feel like more Disney. I hope most part of the show were like that. I like Peter Pan but I think it was too long, they've could have shorten it and put another story to it. Overall I expected what I expected, no WOW! moment for me.

  • It was Good

    by Shani21 on 2011-01-04Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

The whole program was nice over all. Try to add some more Disney characters to it. because my 4 year old was waiting for princess' like Cindrella, Snow white, Beauty etc but none showed up. Allocate less time for each movie so more movies can be covered. Instead of repeating the movie story ( which everyone knows of course) a new story including all the characters would be better....I think !

A lot of fun great for kids purchased $15 tickets which were perfectly good seats. First half had 3 disney stories that were retold and was much better than second half which only had one.

The show was very well organized, costumes were fabulous and the show itself was amazing. I flew my family from Edmonton to Toronto to see this show, and we all loved it. I only wish they would come to Edmonton, we would definatly go again.

  • Very Sad

    by jose1 on 2011-01-03Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

Where to begin with the disapointments surrounding this show. I have been to 2 shows in the past and must say that this one was not nearly as exciting as the lasts. Half of the skaters did not look into it at all. I must also make point of the price of water. To mark up 300% on a bottle of water is absolutely ridiculous. I can honestly say we will not be returning to see another show for quite some time.

Amazing experience! This show covered about 5 major disney films and their awesome songs!! And the skating, costumes, and props were spectacular to behold. The only issue is that most families brought really young children (ie. under 5 years old) who did not seem to really pay attention to the show hahah I would recommend slightly older children who actually have a longer attention span and would know what is going on and can sing and clap with the show :)

  • Well-enjoyed by the kids

    by connected98 on 2011-01-03Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Went to the show with my 4 and 1-year old daughters. They definitely enjoyed the experience, seeing the characters and enjoying the music. They did get a little restless at the end but that's to be expected. My only complaint would be that the prices at the concession stand and for souvenirs are very overpriced.

  • peter pan was great

by mitchieman on 2011-01-03Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I must look at this from my son's viewpoint....He loved it. we were ice level front row and he loved that performers interacted with him. He was quite upset with the lion king segment...that scar and tyhe hyenas were not included but peter pan and HOOK more than made up for it....He loved the show

  • Good family show

by Nogoodnamesleft on 2011-01-03Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Was worth the money, I would suggest not buying top price tickets though because the show is good from any seats. Also, there are always discount codes for these shows, check online. The only negative thing I would say is if your going for the skating, you will be disapointed. The effects and costumes are great but it's not a skill show. Lastly, be prepared for $10 drinks and popcorn ...
