  • Disney...not what it used to be !!!

    by hockeymom04 on 2011-01-01Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

This was not at all what I expected. I have not been to a Disney on Ice show for years so I understand things change, however, I was really shocked at how small and amateurish this show was. The costumes and set were well done but there were malfunctions twice...with the "bubbles" during Under the Sea and the show actually stopped for technical difficulties during another segment where the announcer came on and the lights came up. There were three times that I noticed skaters fell during the performance?? This show was suited for very young children who would take no notice of these obvious errors, that is who I would recommend to see this event. Maybe Disney should produce less shows a year of higher quality like when I was younger.

Overall, the show was very good. It kept the kids attention. The only thing that I was disappointed in was that there was not enough of Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald and Daisy. Also, eventhough this does not relate to the show itself, I have to say that the cost of food at the venue was way overpriced. Who wants to pay $5 for a slice of pizza???????

  • Overall - good show

    by Madison1234 on 2011-01-01Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Overall the show was good - except for the technical difficulty which resulted in the stopping of the show for about 5+ minutes or so. Other than that, it was very well done!

by MARIBEL on 2011-01-01Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

it was a good show my kids like it , I like it too but others shows like the princess on ice were a lot better, more magical.

by KNotl on 2011-01-01Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

My three year old was completely entranced. Nice that it was broken down in to 4 seperate parts. Kept her attention completely. We plan to attend the next one.

  • Great Show

It was a good show, but tended to drag on a bit towards the end. Bring something for your kids to do while you wait for the show to start or during the intermission. There are lots of overly priced souvenirs that light up, so go to Dollarama before the show and buy some things that light up for a dollar or two, some glowsticks or something like that. The same things are over $20 at the show.

way too much Lilo and Stitch and Peter Pan. Food way too expensive. Every seat is good and the show is fun.

  • Very catching

by PrinceFlynn on 2010-12-31Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

This is the third time I am taking my niece to watch a Disney show and i can say that this one was quite catching. There was a nice mix of old and recent characters. I would love to see the show divided in 2-45-minute portions rather than a 50-minute and a 38-minute one. It seemed that the second half flew by very fast. I would still recommend it to all.

  • much more than expected!! A+++

by EnchantedFairy on 2010-12-31Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I bought family pack for 4, each seat was 32 dollars. The show covered best part of Disney musicals, Lion King, Little Marmeid, Peter Pan, etc. Frankly, we ended up watching all the Disney Musicals on Ice stage with a lot more cheaaper cost!! Performer acting and figure skater's skill was just excellent. Highly recommended to book earlier to get much closer seats.

  • Very average

    by Camfella99 on 2010-12-31Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

The kids loved it. Adults loved it because it makes the kids happy. The show, as far as skating talent goes was very average. The costumes and sets were pretty good. The venue took advantage of a captive audience by charging outrageous prices for souvenirs, drinks, popcorn, snow cones, etc. I guess happiness does have a price!

  • Disney Is Magical

    by drup41 on 2010-12-31Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The Rogers Centre production of Mickey & Minnie's Magical Journey captivated the kids this year. Disney cleverly integrated a number of movie favourites into the Journey adding familiar music and storylines into the show..

by Anonymous on 2010-12-31Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

My little nephew who is 6 years old enjoyed the inflatable crocodile in the show. We enjoyed the free popcorn when you buy a bucket you get free refills. The music was great. I love Disney music.

Every year for the last 3, I have taken my grandchildren to the show. This years performance was by far the best in 3 years. We totally enjoyed it. Keep up the good work.

  • It was disappointing

    by SuSie17 on 2010-12-31Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

We've been gong to Disney ice shows every year and enjoyed them. This year was a disappointment. Too much story telling, skating was non existent, rarely saw all the skaters skate together. Most of the time, it was just two skaters and it wasn't very good. Was bored, and for the first time, people left before the end of the show.

  • Disney on Ice really entertaining

by floris on 2010-12-31Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

We saw this show a couple of years ago when my Granddaughters were young and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I was a bit hesitant this year, as they are now 12 and 13, whether they would still be interested. We all thoroughly enjoyed the show, the story lines, skating, and the costumes were outstanding.
