    Disappointed!

by SJ on 2020-01-29Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

I took my three children to the show in Toronto and we had been looking forward to it. The show was good and my kids enjoyed it until the intermission. That's when 6 adult women were moved from their seats to the seats behind us. They screamed and yelled - wahoooooo! For the rest of the show. None of the many staff working there approached them to ask them to quiet down. This ruined the overall experience for me and for my children as they had to listen to the rowdy folks behind us. The show is for kids and if grown-ups go and behave like that, some of the staff at the venue should ask them to settle down. I spoke with a manager after the show and he did apologize for the situation but it's too late then to change anything so it doesn't really make a difference. I paid a lot for close up seats, parking, snacks and a souvnier for the kids. Unfortunately, now all I can recall about the experience is that it was awful and I would not want to ever take my kids to another Disney on Ice show.

    Great Show

by Patticakes on 2020-01-29Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Great show - we went to the 10:30am show, the kids loved it. The only thing I would change is the intermission. I feel like the intermission should be in the middle of the show, not towards the ending. I think I had more fun then the kids lol.

    Tremendous

by Grandma on 2020-01-29Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Took my grand daughter and her mother. It was the first time for both of them . My grand daughter had her focus on the ice and performance the whole show.

    Floor seats were terrible

by Mom on 2020-01-29Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

I paid so much money for floor seats but my daughters had hard time seeing much because there were taller people on rows 1 and 2. They had no booster seats for little ones even though it’s Disney. Not a good experience. Wouldn’t go again.

    Great show... everything pricey

    by Lom88 on 2020-01-29Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

The show was great! My two young boys loved it and were fascinated with the skating and singing. When we got to Scotiabank, of course there was a lot of things to buy. My son wanted one of the light/bubble wands which I expected but the price was insane. $40 (Which was more than my ticket) for a light toy was crazy expensive. The sad part was nothing was under $30 to buy a child for a show. The food and drink were outrageously priced as well. I’ve been to many shows with my children but never experienced these prices. Considering it was a child’s show you would expect reasonable prices. Overall the show was great to watch. The ticket prices are worth it but beware you will be spending at least $200 there if u have more than one child.

Disney on Ice dazzled my child and the child in me.

by BG on 2020-01-29Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

This is an experience that we will want to repeat. Disney helped us escape into their world with the magic that they perform so eloquently.

    Disney on ice dream big

    by s. on 2020-01-29Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Although Disney never disappoints, I found this a much lower scale of production. We’ve been going for 5 years now I’d say and just was disappointed not to see some of the characters and sets not so elaborate either, However on the positive side it was nice to see the addition of Moana and Maui and also Miguel from coco.

    Disney on Ice

by Andrea on 2020-01-29Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Show was great... seats were terrible. Ticketmaster needs to list if the viewing is obstructed. I could have bought seats for the same price a section over and not had this problem. Extremely disappointed.

    Overpriced merchandise

by Bouchersmom on 2020-01-29Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

The show was great, length of show was perfect however the price of merchandise was outrageously priced !!! Seriously $25 for cotton candy ?!?! It’s a great was to upset the kids that are there because some parents can not afford to spend that ridiculous amount of money. They should rethink the prices to be a bit more responsible.

    Dream big

by Lynda on 2020-01-27Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Our seats were fairly good at row 8. Acoustic were poor. Music which should be fantastic, was a huge disappointment. Skating was not impressive but it wouldn't have been as noticeable had the sound system for the music/talking been better. The special affect, fire etc were quite good and enjoyed.

Disney on Ice showing it’s age, wear and tear.

by RyRy on 2020-01-27Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

    1) Poor sound. Very hard to distinguish what characters were saying. 2) Quite a few falls from performers 3) Tired set and stage. Pretty sure I saw the same stage and backdrop nearly a decade ago. All in all was a bit disappointed for the price.

A fun but VERY expensive show

by Bubba Rosa on 2020-01-27Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Aside from the tickets being the price they are, the novelties sold at the event are through the roof expensive and purchasing a souvenir for the little ones prohibitive. Not even Starbucks charges $20 for their mugs! I was absolutely shocked. A bottle of water was $6.25, I am not sure in what world that is a reality. Maybe something to concern for next year ... maybe have some lower priced merchandise so ALL the kids can have a memento.

Loved the music, costumes and skating talent. Great day out with the kids. It held their attention (2 and 3yrs old)
