Really amazing show! Prices of food and merchandise was a little steep but something you would expect at any event at Copps.

  • Where was Sleeping Beauty?

by NanaOakley on 2011-03-20Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

I would definitely recommend seeing this event. My husband, son, daughter-n-law and granddaughter went as a family and we had a wonderful family night. The disappointment came when my granddaughter was expecting her favourite princess to be there. Her eyes lit up every time a princess would come out and perform. She would look at us and say where is Sleeping Beauty and we would answer wait she will be coming, but she was no where to be found. Where was she? My granddaughter was a little sad but the last performance with the characters from Toy Story set her into a frenzy of excitement., she was yelling Jesse, Jesse and waving and yelling Yee Haw! It was great to see her interact with the characters. Although she was disappointed that her favourite princess Sleeping "Deauty" as she calls her was not there she was very happy that she was able to see Disney on Ice and is now waiting until we go to Disney World to see her Sleeping Beauty live. It was an experience that I will never forget because this was my first time seeing anything related to Disney. We always said we would go to Disney with our children but it never happened. Now as grandparents we are looking forward to sharing the Disney experience as a family especially with our granddaughter. Sharing this experience as a family no words can explain that feeling. These are the moments you keep close to your heart and hang on to when life seems to be so overwhelming at times.. Time is so precious and when spent with family it is priceless. Thank you for giving us your time and creating a family moment that will not be forgotten.

  • Let's Celebrate - Disney on Ice

My children thought the show was AWESOME! I probably could have said the same, except for the fact that we were put up in the balcony ( despite being told we would be Lower bowl on my confirmation print out), and I had the pleasure of having a metal bar in plain view of everything. I had to have my head cocked the whole time, or, put one of my kids in that spot - where a bar would have been at their eye level too. I would definately buy tickets for this event again, but next time, I am avoiding the first 3 rows of the balcony!

  • FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    by Iceangle1 on 2011-03-19Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

My husband and I took our 3 granddaughters ( 5,7 & 9) and had excellent comfortable seats and a perfect view for "everyone". Audio was good, special effects were awesome. It was just a FABULOUS performace which all of us agreed on. I also wanted to note the location was great as with little girls were had to use the washroom and never encountered a line up ( very unusual and a pleasant surprise). The concession stands were operated by very experienced staff and the man who waited on us was exceptionally fast and moved the lines extremely quickly. Never experienced this before. It was truly a wonderful afternoon; the children loved the interaction and they each seen their favourite Disney characters. The performers were excellent and the costumes were stunniing. BRAVO!!!!!!!!

My son loved it! Sound is a little louder than I would have liked for young kids, but all in all, the show was excellent.

  • Disney show was "A Whole Bunch of Family Fun"

by momreay on 2011-03-19Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic show. My 8 yr old son was thrilled when they finally did a "Jack Skellington" bit. They drew all the characters together and didn't do the lengthy story lines which I find bore the kids. There was a lot of colour, effects & action and it kept the kids on the edge of their seats. A+

  • Disney On Ice

For the third year in a row we took my daughter. We had first row seats on the ice and they were worth every penny. She was very excited and really enjoyed the show. We will definitely be returning next year.

My 7 year old daughter loved it. We have made Disney on Ice a yearly event during March Break for 4 years now. I have to admit, I did have fun but I think we both loved last years show at Copps Col. more. Our seats (front row - VIP) were amazing but I don't think there is a bad seat in the place. Overall, it was money and an evening well spent.

  • Disney on Ice was AWESOME!

by DisneyonIceNat on 2011-03-19Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

I paid a good price for third row floor seats and it was well worth it. The entire show was incredible. Both my kids were amazed. My 5 year old daughter was in awe at seeing all the princesses and Disney character, my 8 year old son was impressed by the skating skills and he also loved seeing Buzz Lightyear, Woody and many more. Also, I was equally amazed by all the theatrics. Disney went all out in producing this show. I went in with high expectations, and the show surpassed my expectations. I can't wait to go again next year. Fabulous :)

The show was fantastic! The costumes were top notch, the skaters were exceptional. Very professional and well done - I wouldn't expect anything less from DIsney!!!

  • it was awful!

by Anonymous on 2011-03-19Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 1 out of 5

with all they can do - they presented a seasonal show - with halloween and christmas included. How bad is that and we are in spring! the best part of the show lasted 6 minutes if that with Toy story characters which was one of the biggest hits for kids ( also the kids expressed that by there cheering) -

  • awesome !!

a yearly tradition continues : loved the show : every March Break we'll be attending as long as it returns !!!

  • Disney on Ice is fantastic!

    by Eddie2010 on 2010-12-25Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

The only negative was, most of the show was aimed in one direction, to the front, so the two sides didn't have the advantage that the front had. I would suggest more alternating of where the characters are facing throughout the whole show, so everyone gets a good chance to see.

  • Disney on Ice was amazing!!!!

by moonunit on 2010-12-07Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

We really enjoyed this particular show as it had most of the characters. I have been taking my niece's to Disney on Ice for many years. The only complaint that I have is how come Winnie the Pooh and his friends have never come? Winnie the Pooh is part of disney and it would be really nice to see them in the show.

  • A must see if you love Disney

by Kerz on 2010-12-06Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

The show was great. It was exciting and brought all the Disney magic to life. Some of the performances were excellent. Especially the lifts between the Princesses and Princes. Most of the music was from the original movies and my daughter and I were almost in tears, it was so beautiful One negative I would say is that the performers could have mimed the words better as this spoiled it a little but then maybe that's my take on it coming from an adult.

Disney on Ice was so awesome, my husband and I enjoyed it just as much as my 3 year old daughter, we sat in the 2nd row, it was great!

there were more characters but less effects compared from last year's show.
