  • Yet another Disney on Ice winner

by Jimbola on 2010-12-03Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

Most shows have based on one or movies or themes but this was a celebration of many. As usual, the costumes, choreography, music and lighting were stunning.,, typical for all that is Disney, Not the best show I've seen but definately worth catching. Can't for the next show.

  • Don't miss Let's Celebrate!!!

by pocodudette on 2010-12-03Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

Great show I loved it!!!! My kids however preferred last years one as it had more of a story line........all considered though they sat very quietly and never lost interest! I loved the fact that ALL the Disney characters we love were included Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Minnie all the princesses and even the toy story characters!!!! Highly recommended show!!

I've been going to Disney on Ice since I was in grade 6 and I'm now 28 years old. I'm still a big kid inside but this show was disappointing. They changed up all the original songs and played songs that had no revelance to the Disney Movies. I didn't understand the time travel and Japanese theme....Overall I prefer it when they act out an actual movie. With that said, I'm still a big fan of Disney on Ice and I will go again next year.

Took both my granddaughters, they just loved it and I did too, keep the shows coming, have been going for the last five years and enjoyed every one.

  • It was good.

I go to the disney on ice shows for the quality of the show and the songs. This year disney on ice decided to be different and put a dance spin on their shortened songs..my autistic daughter could barely recognize the songs and I bought three sets of tickets for that show. It was disappointing.

Thought it was a little disjointed like they were trying to use up left over material & costumes from previous years. Last year had much better flow and more interesting characters. Talent was there but the theme was not. As to weather or not I would recommend it would depend on what the theme is next year...based on this years show I would say go if you have young kids and can get "blues" or cheaper seats, not worth more than that.

  • fantastic costumes!!

by Anonymous on 2010-12-01Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

the cast, the costumes and themes were fantastic. my children loved it. COMPLAINT: the seating was incorrectly setup by staff at coliseum based on the ticketmaster seating plan. on the internet seating plan i had bought front row seats being as close to the far edge of the ice where the characters come off to stand and wave at the crowd. I spent $500 on 7 tickets and when i arrived the seats were arranged so we were starting at center ice- so i brought two cameras hoping to catch the characters close up on the platform and was very disappointed that the seats were wrong !!!!!

  • Fun for the whole family!

Been to Disney on Ice year after year and this one does not disappoint! Fun for the whole family (moms and dads included).

I found the show very boring. Both my kids were upset until the second half when Buzz and the toy story gang came on. They are 4 and 7 years old. It just seemed very repetitive . We never miss Disney on Ice, however we may skip the next one!

  • Excellent show

by cholita on 2010-12-01Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

It is an excellent show for all the family. It was much better that the last year show. A lot of characters on scene, beautiful costumes and excellent light efects.

  • Disneyland on Ice

by Austenfav on 2010-12-01Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

We loved it. The kids think the show is Disneyland.

  • Amazing show!

by Ursala on 2010-11-30Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

Both my girls (5 &2) thoroughly enjoyed the event. We preferred this show over last years one. My only complaint is the cost of everything from the tickets, treats, merchandise & parking. It gets pretty expensive, especially if you have a couple of kids.

was pretty good but not as wonderful as the previous year.

Let's celebrate was good, but not as good as the show last year. We missed the storyline of the characters that were there last year, and having boys, I found they were a little bored with how much was related to the princesses this year. The brooms was amazing however and stole the show for us!! The kids were also very excited to see the Toy Story characters.

My entire family enjoyed this show. My 17 month old remained entertained throughout the show! It's entertainment for all ages and the costumes and effects were great.

  • Disney on Ice Let's Celebrate

by Marcelita on 2010-11-30Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

While I love Disney I feel it is geared more towards girls than boys. The first hour was based on all the different princesses and my boys kept asking where is Buzz and Woody and to my disappointment they came on five minutes before the show ended. The boys need more boy theme during the show. If all you have is girls then this is the show for you. If you have boys take them to something else.

  • Not the best, sorry Disney

    by 706524thstreet on 2010-11-30Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

Was not too happy with the theme this year. Since Toy Story 3 just came out on DVD, it would have probably been better to bring that one to Vancouver, would have been more popular. Lots of empty seats at our show and our ticket prices were really reasonable for great seats. Thank goodness my son has watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse this year so he "was into" all the characters. Seriously though, Halloween, Japanese winter to spring? How does this fit with anything to do with Disney characters? I was bored, would not have recommended it.

  • Disney on Ice - Let's Celebrate

by sjturn on 2010-11-30Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

The Toy Story 3 part of the show was my son's favourite part. We thought that there would be more of a focus on the movies...ie Toy Story 3 and Princess and the Frog. We really enjoyed Mickey and Minnie's travels to different world festivals.

  • by Anonymous on 2010-11-30Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

Disney on Ice was fun and ok but didn't have any of the Toy Story characters until the very end which was disappointing for my children as that was the main draw for them. The show's better suited if your children are really into Disney princesses.

  • what an amazing show!!!!!

by KatJ on 2010-11-30Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

What a wonderful show - my 4 year old was mesmerized. The scenes were fabulous as were the props and lighting. They had somethig for everyone...although the Winnie Pooh characters were missed as was Sleeping Beauty. I enjoyed the scenes from various cultures a lot. Some say it was a bit scary - but my 4 year old son was not scared at all of the halloween scene (and he is sensitive little guy too). My only complaint was that the souvenirs were expensive. By the time the day was done with souvenirs, popcorn, candy floss, a toy and parking...I was down $70.
