    Not your best Disney...

by Mastermitz on 2013-01-02Rogers Centre - Toronto

Overall the show was OK. The second half was far too long and a little boring. They should've had the second half as the first half while people still had an attention span. First half was quite good. Despite what I thought my 3 year old couldn't take his eyes off the show. My 18th month old couldn't keep her eyes on the show :)

Just okay tried to please too many

    by Travelgirl1871 on 2013-01-02Rogers Centre - Toronto

The show was good calibre but they simply tried to put too many unrelated parts (cars, toy story, micky mouse, ariel and tinkerbelle) together thus losing the interest of the kids in certain portions.

    LACKING

by Nazgul on 2013-01-02Rogers Centre - Toronto

Sorry Disney/FELD! I have been to a few of these Disney on Ice performances and this last one was the worst one. Yes, the Cars portion was pretty cool to see, and both it and the Tinkerbell portion were nice additions to the lineup, but the entire event felt, well...RUSHED. I saw the last one where Toy Story was the only thing they showed. THAT was awesome. I think Disney on Ice succeeds when they key in on one subject matter (e.g. Princesses, Toy Story, etc.). In this show, they crammed the Toy Story portion into the second hour (The last one featuring Toy Story went the full two hours.). The first hour was Cars, Little Mermaid AND Tinkerbell. As for Rogers Centre...the concessions get a big thumbs DOWN from me. They had only TWO places selling popcorn and one of those places RAN OUT OF BAGS. Seriously??!!

My son LOVED Disney on ice!

by ilovesam on 2013-01-01Rogers Centre - Toronto

this show was great, my son is four and was so excited, yelling at all the characters and jumping up and down. The effects were great and there were so many things for the kids to buy and eat

    good but..

by Mcqueenismyfav on 2013-01-01Rogers Centre - Toronto

it was a good show.. but it was more for girls than boys.. the Cars segment was only for a couple of minutes whereas the little mermaid and pixie hollow was for so much longer.. my son got bored of watching the pixies.. it wasn't very well balanced in the first half.. after the intermission, the toy story segment was really good..

This was a well timed event. Started on time and the intermission was long enough. Loved the elevation by the performers. Great show...thanks!

    Entertaining Show

by sharlou on 2013-01-01Rogers Centre - Toronto

I took my daughter and 2 granddaughters ages 7 and 4 to Disney on Ice. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the show. It was fun for the kids and entertaining for the adults. The talent was superb, the costumes and sets were colourful and the choice of stories was good. The only slight critical comment I would make was that the show was about 10 to 15 minutes too long especially for the 4 year old. The Toy Story segment was lengthy. Otherwise it was a super show.

    Disney on Ice Fantasia

    by T3girl on 2013-01-01Rogers Centre - Toronto

The first part was okay with the snapshots of some Disney movies--Cars, Little Mermaid, however the Tinkerbell part was too long. After intermission, I think the second half should have had a shorter snapshot of possibly two movies, instead a VERY long chapter review of The Toy Story, which we saw last year, and it was exactly the same! Maybe adding another Disney movie in there for about 10mins would have been more captivating. The kids liked it, but anything with Disney is always a hit with them. For the adult spectator paying for the show, I'd suggest more snapshots pieces of various Disney movies to engage everyone. The biggest downfall, was the parking. We parked under the Rogers Centre (like the other hundreds of viewers). So when the show ended, leaving the lot from the 3rd level underground, was a real traffic jam. I would suggest to other people going to the Rogers Centre, to park above ground, where you can get out with ease. We were down there waiting for the congestion to ease for 30mins or more. A little scary actually!

My four year old really liked the show, especially the dances. She liked the Toy Story characters the best.

    World of Fantasy

by AddisMom on 2013-01-01Rogers Centre - Toronto

Once again, Disney on Ice has out done themselves. My daughter and I went to see World of Fantasy for our yearly mother daughter Disney on Ice adventure. It was a great show. We had perfect seats and despite the cold and snow it was a beautiful sunny day. Thanks Disney on Ice for helping me to create such wonderful memories with my daughter!!!

    Toy Story was awesome!!

    by CountryGirl54 on 2013-01-01Rogers Centre - Toronto

Would highly recommend going to see Disney on Ice if you have the chance. The costumes and background scenes are incredible. My only regret was I had our picture taken after the show at the Buzz LightYear & Woody booth, but somehow, somewhere that picture got lost between leaving there and walking back to Union Station..maybe on the GO Train back to Whitby don't know. All I know is that when I got home the picture was not in the package.

    Great show for all ages

by GigiDuru on 2013-01-01Rogers Centre - Toronto

Show was amazing, as expected from Disney. Kids and grown-ups were equally amazed by the skaters' performance and, naturally, by characters themselves. Only drawback - the show was virtually identical with the one we saw 5 years ago. The new act - Toy Story was nice, but a little uneventful; the act it replaced was Lion King which, in my view, was more engaging. It could be a biased opinion though, as that was our very first DIsney show. All in all, great show, amazing performance, great skaters! A joy for all ages!
