    Disney on Ice

    by buorange1 on 2010-03-24Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

I thought the show was very well done and enjoyable to watch as a kid and an adult. Though only thing I thought the conditments where a little on the pricey side. Overall, I would take my nicece and nephews again and enjoy are refreshments somewhere else were there not expensive.

Something for the Princess in all of us!

by Anonymous on 2010-03-24Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

This was an amazingly well done show from start to finish. The choreography, the costumes, the lights,...wow. I took my 2.5 year old granddaughter to see it. She's still a bit young, but she was fascinated with the whole thing and sat still for the entire first half. She loved Mickey and Minnie and Tinkerbelll and was mesmerized by the giant elephant. Complaints....the sound was loud, but not as clear as I would have liked. And the exhorbitant prices charged for the souvenirs is just cruel. Most people can't afford $22.50 for a flashlight especially if they have more than one child. Why does it have to cost so much? It plays on the guilt of parents who don't want to deny anything to their "princesses" and puts a damper on such a special event.

    My daughter loved it

by Shanghai on 2010-03-24Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

For the two and a half hours that we were there for, my daughter enjoyed the entire show. The only downfall was some of the performers fell when landing from their airial jumps and flips.

    Disney on Ice

by JeffO on 2010-03-23Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

Great show, more interactive than previous shows ... characters taking pictures with audience during show, several time in the audience and gave kids lots of attention. Good effort by all to make more personal.

    Princess Classics was GRRREAT!!!

    by Mommies2 on 2010-03-23Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

This event was more than expected. Our seats were wonderful...I could almost reach out and touch the skaters. Their performance was amazingly beautiful in all aspects. This was a Christmas gift to my Mom and Aunt and certainly brought joy to our "winter blues" and made Christmas last into spring! It gave us something to look forward to and the performace was more than worth the wait. My Mom was as excited as the little princesses that we saw "dotted" all over the theatre. It made me happy to see her smiles and excitment as the skaters brought back memories of all the disney classics. Keep up the good work and I look forward to attending another performance perhaps when I have a little Princess grand-daughter of my own.

Disney On Ice was Worth Every Penny! (Princesses)

by DancingChild on 2010-03-23Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

What an incredible show for my 4-year old daughter! Every inch of the rink was used to really give the show an intimate & interactive feel. For the parents out there, Drucilla & ? (sp?) - Cinderella's stepsisters were really funny. Other highlights: When Prince Charming and his crew camer around rinkside to see if any little girl's foot fit the glass slipper, Tinkerbell's interludes, the Genie and all the incredible skating!

    Great for kids!

by Kitana on 2010-03-23Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

Besides the annoying constant flashing of cameras on the otherside, the Disney on Ice show was great! I would've liked to see a different view for Beauty and the Beast. The Princess and the Frog should've been included as it's the newest Disney Princess movie. The show, overall was excellent. Great dancing by the skaters! Very colourful and always something to see. My daughter really enjoyed it!

    Little girls LOVE Princesses!!!

    by Spunky07182002 on 2010-03-23Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

My 5 year old daughter was so excited to go and see the princesses. She loved the jumps they did and was excited to see Mickey and Minnie Mouse as well. The program was perfectly timed with it not being too long where my daughter got restless for sitting too long or too short where she was disappointed. The souveniers were great as well...perhaps a little overpriced but a great selection. Their costumes were so colorful and they portayed the stories perfectly with great enthusiasm!! I would definitely recommend taking your little princess to see this show...she will love it!!!

    Magic on ice

    by Father2Girls on 2010-03-22Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

My two girls thoroughly enjoyed the show although one was a little intimidated by the witches. Too bad they didn't get a chance to incorporate the princess and the frog to the show. Maybe next year.

The show was a lot of fun. The whole family enjoyed it very much, and 2 days later my 3 year old daughter still can't stop talking about it. I would recommend this to anyone with children. I look forward to returning next year. Fernando

    Disney world arrives in Hamilton

by WahineAlii on 2010-03-22Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

The show was unbelievable! I was impressed with the set and they spared nothing to compromise a professional, authentic Disney show. It was great! My 4-year old Princess was in awe the entire night.

A great time with my 5 year old daughter

by Shummy on 2010-03-22Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

My daughter and I went to see the Disney Princesses on ice at Copps Colliseum in Hamilton, ON. The tickets were a gift to her for her 6th birthday. What a great venue... convenient, excellent parking, great view. We sat 6 rows up from the ice and were amazed at the production as a whole. The costumes were beautiul and exactly like the books/movies we have shared with eachother. The layout of the show was fantastic with Cinderella as the main attraction in the second half after the intermission. If there was anything negative about it, it would be the cost of the "extras". We did purchase a program which my daughter absolutely LOVES. I couldn't bring myself to spend $10 on cotton candy though, so we went without.

Amazing Show! I would highly recomend it!

by THEDisneyPrincess on 2010-03-22Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

I'll start out with the good. My sister and I (21 and 22) brought our two little cousins to the show this year (eldest, 5years old and youngest, 2 and a half years old) and they bothe LOVED IT! They were really into it, watching the characters, waving, yealling "No" or "Yes" when prompted by the skaters. The skaters were amazing, and the way they organized the stories were perfect! each story (besides the last one) was about 7-10 minutes long, which was perfect for holding a young child's attention, while depicting most of the important information from that movie! Furthermore, everyone who worked there was really nice and helpful, quickly locating close batherooms or supplying napkins for dirty hands. We all dressed up, and some nearby mothers were asking them about their costumes before the show started, which made them feel very special. Now the reason why I chose 4 stars instead of full 5 stars, is because of the pricing of the merchandise and snacks. the program itself is $20.00. I have never in my life seen that high of a price for programs and i've gone to hundreds of plays in Toronto. The girls weren't hungry the whole ride in (we packed snacks, they didn't eat a single one), until we got there and they saw the $10.00 cotton candy (on the positive side, it came witha crown and a wetnap), The snowcones in a comemerative cup was $12.00, which they "needed to go with the snow cones", and once they sat down, they saw hundreds of other kids with glowing wands and spinning glow-sticks that were being sold for no less than $14.00 each. We didn't get the toys, however we promised them a run the The Disney store at somepoint in the near future. So in conclusion, Total price for 4 tickets: $80.00; Total price of snacks: $34.00; Watching your favourite Disney Princess come to life: Priceless! Also, they should include Pocahontas in the performance! Technically, she is a Princess. ENJOY!! p.s. fyi, you can tape the show on a camera, if you have that option.. you tend to get better picture that way than with flash photography.
