  • It was so beautiful!

by Josee on 2024-11-17National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

We had a great time! The cast is excellent (talented actors, great singers and dancers) and the music (including live drums and percussions), decor and characters / animals are superb! I adore that they walk through the aisles at times - it makes it so exciting!!

  • Magical, at times

by Theatre goer on 2024-11-13National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

Greatly enjoyed the innovation of the sets and costuming as well as how they aged the leads as they grew from children to adults. The talent was amazing. Detracting from the experience were the children kicking our seats constantly through the first half of the musical and their parents having a side chat throughout. Some people seem not to know, care, or follow theatre etiquette generally anymore. Reminders about being quiet, not kicking seats are needed.

  • Stunning, magical, fantastic musical

by Nat on 2024-11-13National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely loved it-true to movie, actors and musical score were superb. Would definitely see again. So happy to have it crossed off my musical bucket list!

  • Fantastic show!

by Family with 2 kids on 2024-11-13National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

My kids ( 8 and 6) loved seeing the characters in the upper balconies and then coming down the isles at different times throughout the show. Start to finish a really fun telling of one of my kids' favourite movies in 'real' life.

  • Great Broadway Show!

by Roxanne on 2024-11-12National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

One of my favourite Broadway show. Everything from musical casting, orchestration and animation of all jungle animals was fantastic.

  • Phenomenal in so many ways, but a bit slow

by Sparkylynn on 2024-11-12National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

The costumes and singers/actors, were phenomenal. Really great and top-notch. I found the storyline to be dragged out and not as exciting as I had hoped though. They did get a standing ovation, and well-deserved because nothing bad to say about the actors and costume designers.
