About

Disturbed are a multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated metal band known for their melodic complexity and chart dominance. Singer David Draiman's scorching growl on songs like “Remember,” “Down With the Sickness,” “Stupify” and “Prayer” has helped the band score five consecutive No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200, a feat accomplished by only a handful of acts. Disturbed’s debut album, The Sickness (2000) is the band’s best-selling album. After going on a four-year hiatus beginning in 2011, Disturbed returned in 2015 with another No. 1 album, Immortalized, cementing their status as chart-topping powerhouses. Disturbed released a popular cover of "The Sound of Silence" by Simon & Garfunkel that same year. To date, they’ve stacked 12 No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.

    Great show. Long line ups

by Sean on 2023-05-15Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

Both Disturbed and Theory of a Deadman were great. The venue on the other hand was not. I have been to quite a few shows here, and this time there was unusually long lineups everywhere. It took us 45 minutes to get in, and merch lies were equally long. Good thing that we were over an hour early.

I didnt expect to cry at a metal concert

by Sheena on 2023-05-15Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

I was blown away by this concert. Their speech on addiction, and having everyone who struggled with it raise their hand, made me fall apart. It was absolutely touching. Disturbed was absolutely incredible to see live! I would see them a million times over!

    Great but….

by Abenton on 2023-05-15Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

It was a great concert but apparently a fire alarm was pulled/triggered. It meant that the lights were turned on for one half of the Centre. Kinda ruined the vibe…

Great show but the venue dropped the ball!

by MB on 2023-05-15Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

both bands were fantastic!!! no complaints there at all. Abbotsford Center made us wait in line for more then 45 minutes lined up around the building, they should have opened the doors way more then 1 hour before the show started. we couldn't see the first act because they were loading people on the floor and it took for ever! they were all standing in the way so our whole section couldn't see anything. there seemed to be very little organization, make you not want to go back to this venue :(

    Fantastic show

by Ernybear 73 on 2023-05-15Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

Lead singer David Draiman’s vocals were on fire - he rocked Abby! Excellent show. Good stories and we are glad he’s continuing to share his positivity, powerful voice, and stories. Excellent show - would definitely see again and the Abbotsford arena is a great venue for all shows.

    Too much smoke

by DIYMOM on 2023-05-15Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

Great concert but the venue allowed for everyone to vape and smoke indoors. I don’t believe anyone should have driven home given the “atmosphere” and air quality. It definitely took away from my experience.

    Disturbed/Theory of a Deadman

by Andrew on 2023-05-15Rogers Place - Edmonton

I loved the music, a lot of hard rockers! I loved the focus on mental health and the recognition that all of us are "DISTURBED" !

    Best ever concert

by Terrie Fleet on 2023-05-15Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

We bought VIP and VIP is what we got. The band disturbed was the most down to earth band we have ever encountered. The fact that they advocate for mental illness on top of already being a freaking awesome band just made the whole experience even better. I’m definitely attending the next one. This band deserves huge props and support Disturbed should be the face for mental illness as they have it, they talk about it, and they understand it. I have huge gratitude for this band and well done concert. Xoxoxoox

    Concert was Awesome!

by Suzy bling bling on 2023-05-15Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

Concert was awesome but the Abbotsford Center was a terrible experience. The line ups were ridiculous the back up band Theory of a Deadman came on and most of the fans were outside lined up waiting to get in. We were told doors open at 8 pm it didn't happen. It was a very frustrating paying for a concert and seeing half of it due to Abbotsford Center incompetence.

    Disturbed was amazing but

by Kama on 2023-05-15Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

Lines to get in were so long and so slow. The merchandise lines were so long and so slow. In lines twice to get merch but hardly moved and had to return back to seat to see show. Really disappointed as did not get any merch. The parking was horrendous. It took us 50 minutes to get out

    Disturbed and Loving it!

by Sherbert on 2023-05-15Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

Absolutely worth every cent! The venue was smaller than I expected, but that made for a much more intimate experience. Disturbed was amazing, I was not disappointed. Good crowd security, they handled the crowd surfing like pro's, and treated everyone with respect. One of the best concert experiences I have had.

    Amazing

by Kaleema on 2023-05-15Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

It was absolutely fantastic. Got to hear some of my favourites. It was so touching when they got a fan and their family up to sit on the stage to watch them play. Definitely a group I will see again when they are in town.

    Disturbed in Edmonton

by Concert goer on 2023-05-15Rogers Place - Edmonton

This was a pretty average show made worse by the fact that is was changed a day because of playoffs. Other than that the bands performed well, with no real surprises (pretty much the same set lists as Toronto and Montreal shows). Merch tables were pretty busy with long line ups on most of them. Would I see them again? Probably not but the other people who I went with are huge fans and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

    Venue Disaster

    by Tireguy205 on 2023-05-15Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

I have been going to rock concerts for over 40 years. This was one of the most disappointing experiences of my concert life. Starting with the later start which caused extreme line ups to get into the facility. We missed two songs from Theory of a Dead Man, as the lines were crawling to get in. The smoke in the facility was so bad at the beginning, that the fire alarms and emergency strobe lights went off during Disturbed performance which took away from any good experience. A concert goer who was sitting behind me, slapped my back very hard, complaining about how Theory of a Dead Man sucked? Why hit me? No ushers anywhere to be seen as people couldn’t figure out where they sat while standing in front of me and my guest for minutes while we miss the show. The sound was so loud that it was pretty much distorting the whole time. We left early, looking at the set list online after, 6 songs we didn’t hear, but you couldn’t really make out what was being played. I really like Disturbed, I really wanted to enjoy the show. Too bad too many things were stacked against it. Poor venue management and incredibly bad sound engineering will stop me from ever going to Abbotsford Arena for a concert ever again, none of which was Disturbed fault.

    Lines

    by Tool625 on 2023-05-15Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

Both bands (Disturbed & Theory of a dead Man) played amazing sets. My disappointment came from the line up to get in and the line to the merchandise table. Doors open at 8:00pm and I probably got there at 8:10pm and with the lines it took 35 minutes to get inside. Then tried to get to the merchandise table to buy a t-shirt and waited 45 - 50 minutes. I was in the building so I could hear the show but missed seeing most of Theory of a dead Man. Had the doors been opened earlier there may not have been so much volume at that time allowing people more time to get merchandise and refreshments.

    Loud and Personal

by Amanda on 2023-05-15Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

If you think Disturbed is this little “one off” band that is *lucky* to stand with the likes of Korn, Slipknot, or Pantera hang your heads in shame!! This gem of a band, fronted by the remarkable David Draiman, commanded presence and was loud. Joyously LOUD. David still managed quiet personal moments, talking to the crowd about personal demons, that no one is alone in dealing with them. Even if one wasn’t completely familiar with their catalogue would have enjoyed this show. Never hesitate on tickets. Go.
