Disturbed are a multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated metal band known for their melodic complexity and chart dominance. Singer David Draiman's scorching growl on songs like “Remember,” “Down With the Sickness,” “Stupify” and “Prayer” has helped the band score five consecutive No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200, a feat accomplished by only a handful of acts. Disturbed’s debut album, The Sickness (2000) is the band’s best-selling album. After going on a four-year hiatus beginning in 2011, Disturbed returned in 2015 with another No. 1 album, Immortalized, cementing their status as chart-topping powerhouses. Disturbed released a popular cover of "The Sound of Silence" by Simon & Garfunkel that same year. To date, they’ve stacked 12 No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.

Amazing concert. Tons of fun. No complaints! The concert was really good. The people were great and the venue was nice
These guys are great live, I just can't get enough. The venue they played at was good but I would have preferred it at the Richo or The Molson Amphitheater. They Totally rocked in Pompano Beach in Feb. 09.
overall the concert was great, i was surprised that copps wasnt that busy since disturbed have made in big nationwide. having floor tickets were great; we had tons of space and i managed to get to the 1st and 2nd row. this is my second time seeing disturbed and they just sound great. when you have great music, nothing can make it not enjoyable. skindred which was the 2nd band to perform were ok, they just didnt do it for me, but art of dying from vancouver were pretty decent. overall good show, good times
They played about 15 songs, and included most of the hits. Dan did a few amazing solos, but could've thrown in a few more. He makes up for it with his innovative and unique sound that every fan knows so well. The lead singer David was acknowledging people in the crowd. I don't see that too much from any band. He did it a number of times. He also gave a great little speech about spreading around the Heavy Metal ideal to other people, sounded very uplifting. Great band to see for the price of the ticket paid.
Disturbed is an amazing band. They bring a great live show and I can imagine are rock solid every night. So this review can be done already. Amazing band, must see if you are thinking about it. They had some great opening acts as well. One huge problem, this is no bands fault, the venue sucks pretty much every time. They have taken alot of steps to make things better. But for a band that will pack the venue, unless you are front row or in the upper "V.I.P" it will get tight and visibility will suffer. I think this was a better fit in Ricoh. But venue bashing aside, I still had a good time they were awesome.
The Disturbed show was great on multiple levels. The venue was small which made it more fun and much easier to get up close. I had a great view of the stage without having to worry about getting pulled into the mosh (not like Mayhem last year were I couldn't see a thing). The sound was excellent. The opening bands were amazing as well. Art of Dying were excellent and very interactive with the audience. It was nice to see them live. Skindred (who I had never even heard of) were awesome and very good at pumping up the crowd. Everyone on the floor was bouncing by the end of their set. All in all an excellent show !!!
It was absolutely fantastic, the opening acts were incredibly intense. The people in the most aggressive parts of the Mosh pit were actually really nice. By the time disturbed got out there not only was the crowd warmed up they couldn't believe those were just warm up acts. But as predicted Disturbed blew them all away. When they hit the song Indestructible the energy was overwhelming. I would absolutely love to see these guys again I only had two regrets: 1. I didn't bring more people. 2. I brought a leather jacket to the mosh pit which was stupid on my part. I couldn't have asked for a better time. I had never been to Sound Academy before but I now know why my cousin told me it was it was so great it's an amazing place to have a venue.
This was the best concert i have been to in awhile, though i am biased and Disturbed is my favorite band this show was incredible. I was on the floor and the vibe was amazing they played all good tunes and even went to an encore... Unbelievable I can't wait to see them again as i surf through the crowd!!!!
Disturbed played alot of tracks that were just as good (or even better) than their recorded songs. Totally interactive songs like "Stupified" where the crowd belted back the lyrics with lead man David. Each song that was delivered was topped with the next song performance. The overall set moved up and down and managed to hit all the right songs at the right time, which definitely proves their professionalism and crowd pleasing antics. I would recommend Disturbed to any hard rock fan!
Disturbed are a great live band.I went to see skindred, but was very impressed with disturberd.Live sound is very close to there cd sound. Skindred put on a fantasic show, with there reggae/metal style of music. All that remains was the heaviest of the bands.Very tight and sounded great. A weird mix of bands ,but all were worth the price.
This band is the most thrilling i've seen in a long time. They command that audience as if they ruled over it. If the lead singers was a God he could easily make it believable. I give this concert a full rating because the mosh pits were friendly and not filled with jerk that want to kick you in the face for no apparent reason. If you fell everyone helped you up that the way a mosh pit should be. Plus all the opening band really gears us up for Distrubed.Skindred was an open band that i have come to love. I never heard of them and i'm glad i got the oppurtunity to watch them. If you like Korn you'll like this band. It's a mix of hard heavy rock, and reggae. Might not sound so appealing but if you are adventurous in music you should be this band a listen.
This concert was by far the best concert I have seen ever. Awesome opening bands, excellent venue and great atmosphere! I would most definitely see Disturbed again.
This was the third time that I have seen Disturbed and it just keeps getting better and better. They hardly ever play the same set twice and this time they blended songs together to make you feel like you were getting more. I once saw them and they beat out the headlining band! In conclusion, I loved all the bands playing. All that Remains, Skindred and Art of Dying made this show one of the best concerts I have ever seen.
This was my fifth time seeing Disturbed live....and they just keep getting better live! Honestly, this show and the previous time I saw Disturbed (Mayhem Fest @ Darien Lake) have been the 2 best Disturbed shows for me. So much power in the show....its relentless!!! Skindred was a perfect fit for the opening slot. I have wanted to see these guys live for awhile now, and they as well did not disappoint. It was obvious a lot of the crowd did not know who they were at first, but by about the 3rd song, Skindred had the place jumping!
Disturbed played an excellent set to an almost full house at Sound Academy on the docks. The set was excellent, especially the 5 minute drum solo. Would definitely go see it again.
Wow, what a show - all three bands did a fantastic job of getting the audience involved, and rocking HARD!! The sound was SO LOUD and GOOD and the audience LOVED it. Disturbed is by far one of my fave bands and their live show was off the charts. Too bad it was the last show of the tour!! Rock on!
I attended this concert with my wife and three teenagers. Copps Coliseum was great, seating was good, sound was also very good and loud. I was not too crazy about Art of Dying who played first. Its not that they were bad, just not heavy enough for me. On the other hand, Skindred was an amazing opening band and really got everyone wound up. I would go to a concert just to see them, awesome and very energetic band. The lead singer is hilarious. They are now one of my favourite bands. When Disturbed took the stage, everyone stood up and never sat down until they wrapped up the show with Down with the Sickness. At times, I think the crowd was outsinging David. The easy access to the smoking area was nice between the bands so you could run out for a couple. I would go to Copps for a concert again. The layout for the seating was perfect for the typical Disturbed crown of 5000 or so. Every seat was a good seat. Vendors were placed in the upper hall and well spread out.
The show opened with Skindred. A lesser known band and not so mainstream, but they put on an amazing show and really pumped everyone up. Then Disturbed took the stage. Amazing show, quite simply. They played many favorites and just had a wonderful performance. A must see for any fans of the band
Loved everything about the Disturbed show. Amazing enternce, Amazing crowd, the band was very entertaining.
The show was great, Disturbed layed it down hard heavy and never missed a beat, the sound was killer, the vocals were stellar, and the band played tight and dead on the money. The only down side was the venue, I know ticket sales dedicated the venue change, however the sound academy is not he best place to see a show........would not go back for another show at this location......
