I've been following JP for several years. His ability to concisely express many of the issues in our society, which too often are soooo diverse and numerous, is incredible. He breaks these issues into component parts, but more substantive than mere soundbites. And he is human about it. Powerful....

  • A Time to Remember

by Rafik on 2025-03-13Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

It was a great experience to see Dr. Peterson. This is my second time in Toronto & it didn't disappoint. I went with a friend of mine as well & he also enjoyed the event as well. Dr. Peterson's speech was spiritual, thoughtful, & provocative. His family's contributions were heartwarming. The family members also being part of this event is consistent with his messages. Looking forward to his next event.

Can’t wait to attend his next Toronto event.

It was a great lecture but I personally did not care for the overuse of religious stories

  • Great Lecture!

Very profound lecture - Dr. Peterson is an amazing speaker, and kept momentum and passion in his lecture. I have never heard anyone speak with such passion in his words. I really appreciated the lecture, and found that those who haven't read his book would very much enjoy.

  • Life-changing experience

by EB on 2025-03-09Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I have been following Dr. Peterson's content for several years. It was an honor to attend his presentation and be able to learn from him live. The passion and energy with which he delivers his speech is remarkable and definitely different than watching it on video. I think it was a great moment, which made a big impact on me.

  • A genuine and audience-friendly lecture

by Kaison on 2025-03-09Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Dr. Peterson gave a logical, sophisticated overview of the meaning of life through four biblical stories about Jacob, Moses, Abraham and Jonah.

  • Amazing Evening!

by Josh on 2025-03-09Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was fantastic, top level production and Dr. Peterson did not disappoint. He kept up an unbelievable energy level for two plus hours and weaved three different story lines together into one unified theme. I wish there had have been a little more time for Q&A but I can understand why it needs to be cut off eventually based on the amount of effort that kind of speaking requires.

  • Jordan Peterson Was Compelling

by KNolan on 2025-03-09Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I am a big JP fan and it was amazing to see him in person rather than on you tube videos. His delivery was masterful and exciting. I have already ordered and received his new book “We Who Wrestle With God”. Lighting and sound system was great - a nice surprise to hear JP’s son Julian perform. He was fantastic! My only criticism lays with the ScotiaBank Arena seating. It’s too tight and one cannot get comfortable. I am a 130 lb, 5’7” woman and my knees were banging against the seats in front of me and there was no room to put your arms on the arm rest. The most uncomfortable, tight seating I have ever experienced. I am sure I am not alone in my critique of the seating/spacing of seats. It’s a good thing JP is such a compelling and riveting storyteller otherwise I may have been tempted to leave early.

  • "We Who Wrestle with God"- a return to faith.

by Wm Scott Turrall UE on 2025-03-09Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

from Wm Scott Turrall. Having followed Dr Peterson since his run in with the Ontario/Canadian - draconian - Orwellian Gov't in 2016 .. his ever expanding delve into the Biblical Works, starting with his lectures on Genesis, then his round table with the Dailey Wire on Exodus and now the Gospels has lead me back into faith. I was raised in a very open and pluralistic non practicing Christian home - but as one does in youth - you go through a path of one God - many God's - no god - age of reason and discovery -- and through wisdom back to faith. Dr Peterson's lectures have been that catalyst. "We Who Wrestle with God. "is such an apropos event for that discovery. I have watched his other recorded presentations .. and as he said not one is the same. The one in Toronto focusing on the climb to enlightenment and or the slide to darkness and despair. This reflection as it pertains to our life was brought to light by an excellent explanation of the story of Jacob, Abraham, and Jonah (with a bit of Job and Moses thrown in) . In a nutshell be on your knees (not in subservience) and aim up for aming leads to action and being humble in that approach leads that way. whereas standing and aiming down might be easier -- but leads to darkness and "hell". God gave each of the protagonists in these stories those choices and through their humbling became great leaders. To bring home the message in real terms - during the Q/A he answered "if we are going to suffer - how do we know which way should we chose?"by outlining the struggles of his wife, and his own societal ostracization as if you aim up and for truth -- although impossibly hard - will always win out . i.e. god put that in your way and with his help and faith it can be overcome. As to the venue. 1) we had Floor seating -- that was great. The staff was great - very helpful. A+, 2) as a tall guy -- the seats themselves were a bit short --BUT comfortable B+ 3) It's the old Maple Leaf Garden so as a Canadian -- not much better. -- Maybe Roy Thompson Hall but .. a moot point at best. All in all best Christmas gift we gave to each other. From Debra Turrall UE: Scott has echoed my thoughts exactly. I was raised in a Christian family, and wandered away during my youth. As I have matured into Adulthood, I have also been searching. Jordan's lecture series on the Bible has absolutely given me the impetus to believe again, and I value the insight he gives! The venue was great, comfortable seating (a bad back and Sciatica not withstanding) and it was easy to hear every word. Having his family there too was a nice surprise. I would like to see him come back again, to further the journey.

Well...it's like... I went to watch JBP and he started talking about Jonah,Abraham and Moses and I couldn't separate the wheat from the chaff. Do you really think you can? YEAH! Think again bucco, because you are a monster who lives in hell. But you should go and listen because if you situate yourself correctly and aim upwards, forthright you may be a little bit better tomorrow than you are today. And that's that.
