  • Amazing opportunity to see Dr. Peterson

This was an amazing opportunity to see one of the most influential thinkers of our time, and our local treasure, Dr. Peterson. The hall was a good venue for the event. A surprise hosting by Rex Murphy was an added bonus.

  • Love JP, but this was underwhelming...

I was really excited about this. I've seen several recordings from Dr. Peterson's 12 Rules for Life tour and was anticipating that this would be somewhat similar but on the subject of or at least in some way related to his latest book, Beyond Order. That's not what this was, sadly. Instead, the interviewer pitched him questions about himself, his career, his views on current world events and politics. He certainly delivered wise and well-formed responses, but it seemed fairly redundant to me as someone who only occasionally keeps tabs on his YouTube videos. Combined with the fact that this was in Toronto where most of the audience is likely all too familiar with him and his backstory, I was surprised and disappointed by the subject matter. They also decided to skip the Q&A period slated for the end, which would have been fine had the interview been more engaging, but because it was not, I would have welcomed some novelty introduced by audience questions. I'm not writing negatively of Dr. Peterson, but some of these directorial decisions led to an overall underwhelming experience.

  • Kicked out of a Q&A

This was a lecture on hating liberals and making money. Last time I checked Rex Murphy was voting Pierre Elliot Trudeau has the best Canadian to have lived now he's shilling for Peterson. I loved Dr Petersons talks but it was over priced and Rex Murphy ruined the experience for me.

It was great to see one of Canada's finest answer questions so truthfully & humbly while at the same contributing to provoking thoughts & personal analysis.

  • Amazing - as expected

Insightful conversation with Rex Murphy. Dr. Peterson said many thought-provoking things that resonate with you, as he always does. I've watched almost all his videos and read his two most recent books, and there were still many new perspectives shared during and takeaways from this show.

  • Excellent Conversation

I have enjoyed Dr. Peterson's content for years now. This was the first time I have attended a live event though. Rex Murphy was wonderful. As always, Jordan's views were carefully crafted and expertly articulated. I would leap at the chance to attend another live event! Highly recommended.

  • Intellectually stimulating but still funny

by Jonathan on 2022-05-26Théâtre Maisonneuve - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

Able to deliver intellectually dense conversation, but with moments of humour.

  • A seriously deep and engaging conversation

by Pete on 2022-05-26Théâtre Maisonneuve - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

A really fun show, several great threads of discussion on reality, religion, meaning and current affairs. Above all it was a nice night where common sense was the loudest and most shared voice. 1h30 including a few questions from spectators.

Best thinker of our time. The complexity of perception tied to religion and postmodernism… what a great show.
