About

Dropkick Murphys  proudly  remain  Boston's  rock  'n'  roll  underdogs  turned  champions.  Since  1996,  the  boys  have created the kind of music that's meant to be chanted at last call, in packed arenas, and during the fourth quarter, third period,  or  ninth  inning  of a comeback rally. Their celebrated discography includes four consecutive Billboard top 10 album debuts (2021's Turn Up That Dial11 Short Stories Of Pain & GlorySigned and Sealed in Blood, Going Out In Style), along with 2005's gold-selling The Warrior's Code featuring the near double platinum classic "I'm Shipping Up To Boston." Whether you caught a legendary gig at The Rathskeller (The Rat) under Kenmore Square, found the band by taking the T to Newbury Comics to cop Do Or Die in '98, discovered them in Martin Scorsese's Academy Award-winning The Departed, or saw 'em throw down at Coachella (or one of hundreds of other festivals), you've become a part of their extended family. Dropkick Murphys' music has generated half-a-billion streams, they've quietly moved 8 million-plus units worldwide and the band has sold out gigs on multiple continents. In 2020, the band was one of the first  to  embrace  streaming  performances,  starting  with  their Streaming  Up  From  Boston St.  Patrick's  Day  virtual performance. It was followed by last year's landmark Streaming Outta Fenway livestream, which drew more than 5.9 million viewers and held the #3 spot on Pollstar's "Top 2020 Livestreams" chart. Dropkick Murphys St. Patrick's Day Stream 2021...Still Locked Down, was #1 on Pollstar's Livestream chart for the week ending March 22, 2021, logging over 1 million views. Dropkick Murphys return September 30 with their first-ever all-acoustic album, This Machine Still Kills  Fascists (Dummy  Luck  Music  /  [PIAS]),  followed  by  their  first-ever  seated  theater  tour  kicking  off  in  late October. This Machine Still Kills Fascists breathes musical life into mostly unpublished lyrics by the legendary Woody Guthrie, curated for the band by Woody's daughter Nora Guthrie.

These two bands never disappoint. They always put on a great show. To see these two bands together was amazing. I've seen both bands many times and I've never seen them put on a bad show. They truly are wonderful

So much energy, I had trouble keeping up! They brought the first 3 rows of the mosh pit up on stage for 'Kiss Me - I'm Shitfaced!' Totally unforgettable!

    Awesome Celtic

by toooldforthemoshpit on 2014-09-30Shaw Conference Centre - Edmonton

The band and the warm up band were fantastic. But the draconian liquor policy was horrible. What odds if you drink a beer next to a minor, not them drinking it. And one bathroom in the booze area - almost wet myself.

    Dropkick Murphys

by EliCooper on 2013-09-18Sound Academy - Toronto

I absolutely loved this concert. I'm not one for crowds but I manage to be up front. The energy from the band as well as the crowd made it an unforgettable experience. I would recommend that anyone who likes this kind of music find away to go. It was a great mix of people and the service was fast and friendly.

    DROPKICKS NEVER DISAPPPOINT

by Apollo619 on 2012-11-26Hamilton Convention Centre - Hamilton

I took my brother, nephew and daughter to the show it couldnt have come at a better time as we were celebrating my daughters birthday that week. my brother and i have gone to many murphy shows in the past.... they never disappoint, which is why we had to bring the kids when we heard they were comin to town. obviously we had to be a little more careful at the show with the kids but its usualy a safe show anyway .The band played some of there best songs, they had high energy and great fan involvement, always in your face ,interacting with the crowd ,makin you feel important to show like it couldnt work without you. Just when you thought that was enough they played some of there most famous songs and called up the fans to take the stage, sing the songs, shake there hands, pose for pics and sign autographs Ive been all over ontario to see the Dropkick Murphys, even went to Boston once for there St Patricks Day show and plan to again this year ....... In the end they helped me show my family a great time,my daughter is still buzzin about gettin on stage with Ken Casey and having him take the time to pose with her for a pic in her socks as she lost her shoes takin the stage.she plans to frame the pic of her and Ken Casey, autographed shirt and tics as it was a nite she'll remember forever ........... She said to me a few days after the show dad if the Murphys stop touring I'll never be able to see them when i grow up i knew at that moment she was hooked This was the first time the DKM'S have ever come to Hamilton Ontario the "HAMMER",hopefully with shows like that and reviews like this they will always continue touring and come back again and again as theyll always have fans, friends and a place to play in "STEELTOWN"

    Dropkick murphys were amazing!

by beerbaronkw on 2012-11-19Hamilton Convention Centre - Hamilton

Wasn't crazy how unorganized the bar was (in line for almost 2 hours for a beer) but the music was great.

Dropkicks were great! Sound was not...

by Ophgir on 2012-11-19Hamilton Convention Centre - Hamilton

Sounded like the band could hear themselves very well. Singing was on pitch and the energy was high. I was right by the sound booth, and the middle register was just muddy. Sound was pretty bad, and I couldn't hear much out of the middle, which is where most of the singing was. I'd go see them again at a different venue!
