E.O.D.M. put on a heck of a show. Great energy , great music. Plus they did a wonderful encore
both bands were great ,i would go see eagles of death metal again and again they sound great and have good show ..
AMAZING SHOW! Great stage presence! Made all the ladies feel very lovely, as the lead singer would pause after each song to stare out into the crowd and check out the girls! Played numerous well known hits, as well as some new material! Very tight sound. Had a blast!
Went to this concert and found the music consistently groovy. Couldn't stop dancing along. Thank you for a much needed breath of fresh talent and fellow living music performers.
This show was absolutely incredible. Go see EoDM if you ever get the chance. It was a savage animal. So was the opening band.
Great show, really couldn't have hoped for anything better. The band was amazing, easily one of the top shows i've seen in my life. Explosive energy all around. Furthermore, Jesse Hughes has perhaps the sickest cookie-duster i've ever seen.
Excellent show from a underrated band. Good Venue. Cheap ticket price. Awsome music. The best part of the concert was watching the drummer pound on the skins.
Awesome show! These guys have a ton of energy and sound great too. They had the crowd going crazy! For a bunch of old guys, they sure know how to get a bunch of young kids pumped up.
SUCH a great show! Both bands (Flash Lightnin', and EODM) were so so sooo good! Lots of energy, sounded amazing and had lots of fun! It was super hot in the Odeon though. They really need to work on that. Other than that, good times!! Definitely recommend checking them out.
Once again we gave a good band a warm welcome in Sask. hats off to saskatoon. Make sure we sell out next time they come!!! (Was I the only one a little upset Josh wasn't there? Guess I should have known.....)
It was a long night of shaking and sweating as the Eagles of Death Metal lured the crowd to dance at MacEwan Hall. Jesse 'The Devil' Hughes seemed to be shocked at the size of the crowd, which only lead him to tell his band to play harder and louder. Playing such hits as 'I Only Want You' & 'I Love You Baby (You're Just Nineteen)', winking the the ladies in the crowd, the band did not waste any time making the audience feel like they were in Hollywood back at home with these boys. This is a show that many should feel disappointed in missing. Htere are few real rockers left on stage these days. I am sure that the stones or ZZ top would be happey to see these boys keeping it alive.
Another EODM show and it left me wanting more! Only one encore and the crowd was left cheering for the band to come back out! One of the most wicked bands to perform live, my boyfriend and I have seen them for a total of 8 times and cant' wait for the next show. All of the hits, a sweet ass cover of "Brown Sugar" and "Stuck in the MIddle"...nothing short of amazing! Great venue as always!
Jesse and his sexy moves melted my ovaries! He has the most amazing stage presence. It was like he made dirty sweaty love to everyone in the venue. He even came out at the beginning to sign autographs and take pictures with us at the front of the stage. Everyone needs to see these guys live!
for the first time in my life i was speachless this is a good thing eagles of death metal showed us edmontonians so much love and respect that we had no choice but to give it back to them but vamp up edmonton style the are and epic band and will be hard to beet they had so much energy and poored there blood sweat and tears in to the cords and lyrics that it was overwhelming but again in a good way every song was amazing every move and cord was extrordinary the crowds when wild people pushing and some guy got past security twice and then another random dude snuck behind the fence too this concert puts the R in rock n roll hats off to the band for throwing one hell of a show
Opening band was great! Better than other opening bands for sure... Eagles of Death Metal were alright, we are used to metal concerts so this was deffinately a change of pace. They played some music from all 3 albums, his vocals were okay - didn't sing in the same voice he recorded the albums in. the band was really in tune with the audience, getting them involved whenever they could, great performers... Overall, not bad performance, i really liked it when they played their stuff by death by sexy.
I love this band and had been looking forward to attending the show. I was impressed by the opening act Flash Lightning, but the Eagles of Death Metal where pure entertainment. I would say the most entertaining show this year.
I was introduced to this band by my boyfriend and liked one or two songs. The show was really well played! The music was great, the stage show was entertaining. I would recommend this to anyone who likes high energy music.
This show was awesome. Even the opening band, Flash Lightning, who I'm sure nobody has even heard of, knew how to build their set list. They started out lame and generic, and by the fourth or fifth song, were sounding amazing. The songs they were playing just kept getting better, which was the perfect build up for the main event. Jesse Hughes struts out on stage, plays the crowd and combs his mustache like a real rock star, which is what the EoDM are all about. Such an enjoyable show.
The Eagles of Death Metal put on a fantastic show! It was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Beforehand, Jesse Hughes came out to meet people in line, and even went out into the bar to mingle with his fans! He's the most down-to-earth frontman, and you can tell he absolutely loves what he's doing!
WHAT AN AWESOME CONCERT!!! I HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!! i love the lead singers dance moves, just like in DVD by sexy!!!
