I would give 10 stars if I could

by cartermackenna on 2013-11-01Madison Square Garden - New York

Amazing! Just Ed, a guitar and a loop pedal. In a world of auto tuned, pre packaged lip syncing pop music, it was awesome to see true talent. Excellent experience. Wouldve paid way more for these tickets.

by Geena on 2012-10-09Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Hands down, Best Concert I have ever been to!! Not Only was Ed Sheeran Amazing but, His opening Acts also Blew me Away. Passengers cover of "Sound of Silence" was one of the most beautiful live performances I have ever heard. Ed Sheeran is soo Talented and When he comes back, I Highly Recommend anyone to go to his showYou will not be dissapointed. His Encore Alone was worth the Ticket Price, Anyone who saw him do "You need me but, I dont need you" Knows exactly what im talking about!!

Best Night Of My Life <3

by Lexi12 on 2012-10-09Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Not only was Ed as amazing as usual, but the opener the passenger was incredible. The first opening act was mediocre but she definitely didn't take away from the show. I want them to come back as soon as possible.

    Absolutely Amazing!

by MapleBlondie on 2012-10-07Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Show was amazing from the moment it started. Had never heard of the opening acts, yet walked away with the Passenger CD. After seeing Ed in person I have a whole new appreciation for the CD. His voice is spectacular, and he is so extremely talented. Great sense of humor and very interactive with the crowd. Loved the stories about the inspiration for his songs, and was amazed at how a one-man show could sound like he had an entire band on stage. Bottom line -- see Ed Sheeran live in concert. You will love every minute of it.

    No Mic, No Problem

by Artsy3 on 2012-10-07Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Ed is a multitalented person. He is literally a one man band creating all the sounds of a fully equipped band with his guitar and a loop pedal. The show was superb. He was interactive with the crowd, getting us to participate and telling us the story and meaning behind certain songs, and even sang without the mic at one point. It was one of the best concerts I have gone to. Ed Sheeran you sure know how to work a crowd! Well done!

I bought the ticket for my daugher. This is her review. Show awesome. Great rapprt with the audience. Opening acts were excellent. Met Ed after the show. He smelled good, got a hug, and autograph. Greatest thing that has happened to me ever. Life now will start to suck. Tough act to follow. JB, will you be able to follow this??????????

The most entertaining one man act I've ever seen!

by Urbanelf on 2012-10-06Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Ed Sheeran puts on an amazing show! There is no need for a full band because he does it all..... fully engaging, he gets the audience participating, and tells some great little stories in between songs. The opening performers were outstanding as well. Selah Sue is a revelation, and Passenger (Mike) got 2 standing ovations. Their styles worked very well with Ed's and it was overall an amazing show. I have been sharing their music with all my friends! The many teenage girls shrieking "you're sexy" throughout the show was annoying, especially when he was trying to speak intimately to the crowd. Even he seemed a bit annoyed after constant interruptions. Let the man alone people, praise his work, not his ass. The man is truly brilliant.

    Ed eh?

by oldestman on 2012-10-06Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Ok... I was likely the oldest ticket buyer (59) and I confirm that Ed's music transcends any demographic. From sweet soul Irish folk ballads to mind stunning pop-rap, Sherran has the audience eating out of his hand. At first I was disappointed with the absence of a band and THEN thinking that there was "canned" music blended. Thankfully Ed explained his self generated playback system through multiple mics. Then the fascination with his musicality grew deeper. This guy is a music sensation! This is the first event I've ever attended that was a music PHENOMENA! This must have been what it was like to see the Beatles before they were mega stars. The only time I needed earplugs was for the screaming girls. Rock on Ed eh?

Great entertainer, Great acoustics, Great gig!

by VancouverFleur on 2012-10-06Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

This is the best gig I have been to for a while! Ed Sheeran is a great performer. He got the audience involved in the show A LOT and his voice was brilliant. I love it when a band/performer sounds the same or BETTER than their album! He was great and parts of the show were pretty emotive and haunting - just his voice singing (almost whispering) the beginnings of an old Irish folk song and the venue is in complete darkness (and the audience stayed deadly quiet!) It was great to hear him perform, to hear him talk about how he loves to perform and also to hear his personal stories about his family and the songs. If you can actually get tickets to see him then do. Although I am worried that next time he goes on tour he will play stupid large airport-hanger-type arena venues! Stay small Ed!!

    Ed Sheeran is amazing!

    by katz2 on 2012-06-06Commadore - Vancouver, BC

We saw Ed a few months back when he opened up for Snow Patrol (who were also super amazing!). He is truly a gifted singer/writer and his performance is not to be missed. He has a huge following of listeners that spans many age groups.. Unfortunately our two kids (aged 16 and 18 )whom are huge fans (have been following him for a few years now) will not be able to attend the event as it is a 19+ venue. For the life of me, I can't figure out why they picked the Commadore which leaves out a huge demographic of fans (so sad). For those of you 19+ enjoy!!!!!!
