Eddie Izzard is a British comedian and actor born in Aden, Yemen. The genderfluid performer got her start in sketch comedy and street performance before launching her stand-up comedy career. Known for her rambling, stream-of-consciousness monologue style and self-referencing pantomime, Izzard won two Primetime Emmys for her 2000 special Dress to Kill. The comedian’s film and TV credits include Ocean’s Twelve (2004), Ocean’s Thirteen (2007), The Riches (2007), Valkyrie (2008), Cars 2 (2011), and The LEGO Batman Movie (2017). Izzard also earned a Tony nomination for the Broadway revival of A Day in the Death of Joe Egg. In 2024, she premiered her one-person adaptation of Hamlet, which will transfer to Chicago and London following its triple-extended run in New York City.

Loved the show. Eddie Izzard is a brilliant comedian and one of a kind. My only negative was the number of people there, seemed like full capacity, and no social distancing and not wearing masks.
I had not really had any idea about Eddie Izzard and her comedic performance,I did recognize her upon a google search(so had seen her in the odd film) I absolutely adored everything thing about this comedian!! She is electric,hugely intelligent (her content is smart and quirky)she is simply hilarious and and a joy to watch….my two sisters and I (all 60+) laughed through the entire show and wanted so much more❤️Also loved her 👠 shoes!!!!
Eddie is brilliant! Been a fan for 20 years. She is so clever and smart, yet hilariously silly. Would absolutely attend again. For now, I wish her well on her political journey and look forward to following this new aspect of her career.

A simply fantastic, marvellous show! I am thrilled I got to see Eddie Izzard live! Very grateful she included Edmonton on her tour. We laughed the whole show and loved the references to her previous material. I can’t wait to buy the DVD!
Eddie Izzard was a bucket list thing for me but it was better than I could have ever expected ! She is intelligent, quick wit, and current. It was the best concert EVER ! Thank Eddie !
The last time I saw Eddie I lived in London and my son was not even born. This past Sunday I took my wife, stepdaughter and son who is now 23. Eddie has not changed her style in all that time. As funny and as original as ever. Eddie has got to be one of my favourite people. A real stand out evening. Thank you.
I've seen Eddie Izzard before and the act was awesomely funny. This recent tour is more pleasant, like a very nice conversation with someone I like a great deal. This is more spoken word or stories than comedy. The last tour (during Izzard's pledge to run for mayor of London, before the marathons) had places where I didn't hear the next lines from laughing so much. This time was just rather nice. I would go see another show in the future, on the promise of Izzard's work in the past but if I knew it would be like this one, I may not.
I appreciated the intelligent humour. No pandering to cheap political jokes at other’s expense. Requires focus! Her stream of consciousness is hilarious but you need to be on your toes to catch all the amazing references. So glad I went!
Scanning our tickets on the phone took forever. If there had been a full house we would have been late. When I bought tickets it looked as though the venue was almost sold out but when we got there there were big sections with few people in them and the people crowded together. No ushers to ask if we could move. Where were all those empty seats when I looked at available seats online. Aarrgghh Good thing it was a great show but terrible organizational/administrative/technical support
Eddie never disappoints. Hilarious from start to finish. Intelligent, insightful, innovative…. A must see!! Can’t wait for him to come back !!

Laugh crying a few days later after the show. Been really wanting to see her since my first introduction via “Deathstar Canteen” over 15 years ago. Brilliant and funny. Warning, been saying “Bat Bat” randomly since Sunday as a potentially hilarious side effect.
This was the 3rd time I've seen Eddie live, twice in the UK and now in Canada, and she never fails to impress.
Eddie’s performance was perfection. A unique talent. No one else tells the history of the universe in a stand-up act. I haven’t laughed so much since the last time I saw Eddie. The venue and logistics were well organized and ran smoothly.
Was super happy to see Eddie again; laughed until i cried. Seats were amazing!
Eddie was a bit late in going on stage but well worth the wait. The next two hours were spend wandering around in that amazing brain of his. Also did his homework on Calgary and Edmonton, not too sure we didn't do that well when he took to the stage in Edmonton.
We had such a great time at Eddie Izzard’s show “Wunderbar” ! I have been a fan for years and it was such a treat to see him live. His charisma is palpable and our sides were sore laughing! I love the message that Eddie stands for and would go back to see him again in a heartbeat!!
