Edmonton Capitals Tickets

The reason I went to the game was for the pre-game concert (Run Kid Run) which unfortunately was moved to a different location. The baseball game was fun to watch except it dragged on until the end was postponed because it was so late (noise bylaws, etc). As I had plans already for the next day when the game would finish, I missed the whole ending. However there were fireworks at the end of the night, that were fantastic and possibly saved the evening.

The evening was very entertaining. There seemed to be lots going on besides the baseball game. A good night for families!

Very entertaining game, enlivened by Brent Bowers meltdown on a blown call by the umpires who didn't recognize a trapped ball. Performance included throwing all the game balls on the field, pantomine of the call, yelling and piling dirt on home plate. Very reminscent of last year in Calgary when Bowers was ejected and came back in the stands to heckle the umpires! Oustanding performance.

We went as a family to our first Capital's game, what a great time!! It's hard these days to get out to a sporting event without spending crazy amounts of money, but we have found it!! Very affordable tickets, concessions, and very good entertainment! Alot to keep the kid's attention, which is important, we well definately be back!

I attended the Home Opener for the Capitals. They had some great guests at the start of the game. Throughout the game they had great contests and prizes, which I never won. From what I watched, the Capitals are going to be a good team this year and for years to come.

We had an awesome time. We took our two daughters (8 and 6) and they LOVED it too. The game came down to a nail biting tie and the Capitals pulled it out by getting a home run in the 9th. My girls were getting tired and didn't want to stay for another inning so the home run was perfect. To top it all off, the weather was GREAT and then the fireworks were awesome. I said they were better than the ones we saw at Canada Day!! We will definately be going again!!
