    Play hard for 60 minutes

by JR on 2023-09-12Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

The first three quarters were not all that exciting; however, the 4th quarter was much better. Terrific finish! Great victory! Keep up the good work! I have a suggestion: Provide gluten free buns for the hot dogs and hamburgers. I took my son and grandson and they had to do without either of those two products. Not much else they could eat besides cotton candy and popcorn.

    Fun and exciting game

by LannyB on 2023-09-12Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

Too bad the ticket getting process wasn't as easy on Ticketmaster. I couldn't get the free kids ticket even though the section was not full by a long shot. There were no options given for the cheaper seats so I ended up having to pay for both my son and I regular price.

    Good fun

    by Jordan G on 2023-09-03

I had a great time at the game. There’s some things missing since the team isn’t doing well and attendance is lower, but it’s still fun. Last year they had a brass band playing that was so much fun. They didn’t have that this year, which was unfortunate.

    Elks game

    by Paul C on 2023-08-31

It was my daughters first cfl game, we loved it so much we are hoping we get a chance to go one more time this season. Thank you for a great experience and making it an affordable event that the family can enjoy without breaking the bank!

    Enjoying Edmonton

    by Excited Don on 2023-08-30

I have been going to Edmonton football games since the late 60s in the Woodwards knothole gang. We were not a good team back then either. I love to go because I could hang out with my friends there. 50 years later, it has not changed. Only now I can go with my son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter. My granddaughter, however, is a Saskatchewan fan. But she loves to go and cheer on the team and someday when she’s older would love to be a cheerleader. The whole experience inside the stadium is great and you just have to get yourself caught up in the atmosphere to enjoy it. We were with a woman who had never been to a football game before in her life , but was up cheering and jumping up and down and just enjoying herself. She just got caught up in the whole atmosphere. To anyone who is thinking about going to a game but doesn’t know anything about football just go. Everybody there is there to have fun and it is more fun when we win , but that is not how sports work. I was glad to be there for our first win and who knows how long and our young quarterback is making it exciting again. And he’s Canadian! it is one of the cheapest forms of entertainment you can go to in Edmonton! I highly recommend it!

Great to see the Elks break the streak

    by ElkmontonRon on 2023-08-30

Getting tickets online was relatively easy, although we were a bit blind about where in the section we were sitting. Also odd that we had to check our backpacks on the way in; not sure why they do that but consider yourself warned. The concessions were OK, but their internet seemed non-functioning so yo had to use cash. I was surprised they didn't have any local micro-breweries available, although there were a ton of coolers to choose from. The game was great, but remember that Commonwealth stadium was made first for a track not a football field, so the seats are unusually far away. In summary: good value for a fun evening.

    Wall of Honor

    by Kimmy on 2023-08-30

The game was great. The PA system was not. We couldn't hear the speeches or the refs calls. Color me disappointed.

    Bombers in Edmonton July 10/24

    by Andy on 2023-08-14

I enjoyed everything about this Stadium and its staff. The Bombers won which is even better. What would have made it a 5 star rating would have been a full house. My guess is about 12000 people with at least 1500 or so were from Winnipeg. Cmon Edmonton get out there and support your team. Not winning a home game in 3 years may have something to do with this.

TSN is slowing the game to a crawl

    by Pg on 2023-08-13

Watching players standing Round while other stuff fills in slows the game and often kills momentum of a good much down the field. Easier to stay home and fast forward the talking heads.

    Over all a good time

    by Cam on 2023-08-13

Overall the event was good other than not knowing Edmonton has a clear bag policy to get into the stadium! This was embarrassing for my daughter having everyone see her feminine hygiene products! I will not attend another event like this in Edmonton and by how empty the stands were!

    Great value

by Dad of two on 2023-08-01

Even though the team’s performance was terrible, the experience was great. Being able to bring my young children for free made it affordable and there was constant entertainment that made my kids happy (e.g. cheer team, mascots, intermission games, prizes, etc.) Also, food was reasonably priced… beer was less so.

    Awful

    by YEGBF on 2023-08-01

The game experience was awful, will not be attending another game this year with the horrible product being put on the field.
