The whole evening was fun with lots to do and see.
Great experience. Will definitely go again next year.
So much fun. Lots of people. Most players were really good with the crowd.
Always a great time at the Oilers Skills Competition. This event is the best bang for your buck to see the Oilers up close. Easy to get the whole family there together. Many fun events as well as prizes handed out. My absolute favourite is the Ruff Ruff challenge!
Took the kids and grandkids and had a great night!
Loved the event for the family! From the skating outside Rogers to the all the skills, we had a fantastic time.
I usually enjoy the skills but it wasn’t even close to par this year!
Hi there, I really loved to participate in such a wonderful event. I just want to say that players should be more close up to children with banners. They love Oilers players, and they do a huge effort to show them throughout a banner. Thank you.
Our family of 8 ( 3 kids) enjoyed the evening immensely! We had good seats in the lower bowl considering a lot of choices were sold out (even being prompt calling at ticket release) We all felt there could have been more skills with players. The dogs were definitely an added bonus for entertainment! Overall a fun night!
My family and i loved it especially the dog audition
My sister and her fiancé came over from BC to visit and spend some quality time with us ..I surprised them with this event with my boys . My special needs boy and my teenager boy were very exited and happy . We all enjoyed it . The event was very beautiful, well organized and inclusive (it was easy to my special needs son) . We will attend other events in future . Thank you for organizing it.
We drove in from out of town and it was not worth the drive. We were hoping for some actual interaction. Autographs from alumni should have been available. A souvenir for kids would have been nice. And stop giving free stuff to the same section over and over!
This year I was slightly disappointed as in previous years it’s been a couple hour long competition. This year it was over in 1 hour 20 minutes. Our family really enjoys this event together since we can’t afford to go to oilers games. The players are also usually a lot more involved with their fans and this year they definitely were not. We were so excited to be 5th row so the kids could go to the glass and get a couple pictures but that never happened. They never even tried to interact. Very disappointing. Not sure we will continue going.
I went with my little brother, stepdad and mom. They sat in Section 127 Row 9 I believe and me and my brother were in Section 120 Row 2. Lots of fun competitions, not super long and drawn out (the dogs was probably the best part), great atmosphere and me and my brother really enjoyed it. At the end the players threw signed hats into the crowd and my brother got a signed Bouchard hat and he is so excited. Lots of fun definitely recommend and though cheap anyways it would be a worth while thing to go do even if it was more expensive. Had a great time!
Everything was wonderful. Our Grandson took part in the Spelling Bee! So exciting. Can’t wait until Oilers Hockey School!
Great fun times for all. The players were engaging and I love how they brought in minor hockey players too! Highly recommend
Oilers’ skills competition did not disappoint! From the great seats to seeing the players in a relaxed, comfortable setting, it all made for a great family afternoon.
It was great to see the professionals interacting with the young players. The whole thing was fun and great to watch.
This was my first skills competition, and I was not impressed with the minor hockey element...I'm a hockey mom and I see and do minor hockey life 5 days a week. I want to see the Oiler's skills, not Atom and Peewee kids. I expected the pace of the competition to be quicker and more dynamic!
My two young daughters and I attended and loved it. The energy in the building was awesome. It was a very family friendly event and we will be returning again next year.
