    AMAZING

by Anonymous on 2013-05-26Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Absolutely amazing and breathtaking! This is a best ballet I've ever seen, though I was raised on the classic Russian school ballets. Eifman is one of the leading modern choreographers and in my opinion he is the best. He managed to develop the traditions of the classics and create his own modern style-beautiful,dynamic and captivating! Amazing taste-which is soooo rare now( unfortunately) !

Eifman puts on a great show!

I loved the show. Not your typical classical Ballet. The female principle dancers are so limber moving their bodies in awkward postions with ease.

    Very entertaining

by HOTROCKET on 2013-05-26Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

I am not a classical ballet fan, which this was not. Very skilled artists and great choreography which effectively portrayed the subject of a sculptor at work. Great classical music.

    Best modern balet

by veronix on 2013-05-26Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

I always new that Russian balet is the best in the world. However, this performance is exceeded any expectations I or my friends had. We cannot even imagine such level of perfectionism and professionalism especially in modern balet. All dancers were brilliant and incredible. However, the most amazing that the whole range of emotions, events and allegories were told using dance. This balet is real inspiration for the people who love art and dance,

It was stunning! Everyone must see it!

by Mishka1 on 2013-05-25Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

I was stunned and speechless. I've seen a lot of ballet in my life in Russia and here in Canada. Eifman ballet is absolutely different, full of creative moves and very artisic. The professionalism and "school" (dance skills) of ALL dancers are out of question. They organically live in the music and perfectly interpret such complex emotions like passion, envy, insanity and despair. The dancers make you feel the happines and the tragedy of Camille and Rodin, despair and devotion of Rose, and your emotions are tuned ("dancing") with their. Absolutely incredible work of the director of the show, Boris Eifman. I am still under the spell of the show.

    Amazing night

by Yana21 on 2013-05-25Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

We are not great ballet lovers, but we decided to give it a try and were amazed. The 2 hours flew by leaving us wanting for more. The main heroine is unbelievable. The music is great too. I don't have enough words to describe my astonishment from this ballet.

    Best Ballet

by MXG789 on 2013-05-25Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

This was a stunning ballet performance, likely the best I have seen. The music at times seemed poorly chosen, but otherwise a great show.

    Eifman's Rodin connects

by DavidK on 2013-05-25Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Rodin's sculpures - The Thinker, The Kiss, and so on - reach out to touch their audience's very being. Eifman Ballet achieved that same sort of connection with their audience as they told a story of love, passion, attraction, rejection and madness between Rodin and his mistress and collaborator of many years. The performance was a delight to watch and experience; I felt priveleged to have been there.
