A great night of classic rock
by Dreamsunwind on 2014-11-22Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5Great show put on by a great band. They seemed genuinely happy to all be back together again and sounded great together. Sure is nice to have Christine back as she is so important for her vocals. A good selection of their greatest and iconic hits and focus on different members of the band. Stevie has lost her vocal range, but is still pretty good. Only problem was that you could hardly understand their lyrics on several songs, because of some poor sound mixing evident at Rogers arena. Vocals were anything but clear all night. Lindsay was awesome with his excellent guitar work. He was really into it as was Mick. I thought the order of songs could be improved a bit and some of the classics could have been longer - as was the case with Gold Dust Woman - need more of that. Tusk could have had more power. They also should include some of their really early stuff like Oh Well. Could have easily added that and it would have rocked the way Lindsay was playing! Only the end was bit weird as they kept talking to the audience after their encores - should have done three and called it a night after Go Your Own Way, because people got confused whether or not to go home or if they where going to play another song. Great show. You gotta see them to re-live some memories and listen to some classic songs before they are gone.
