Pay for parking NOT required at WFCU in Windsor Ontario to watch a game. Was NOT impressed when the game went to corner that the BIG screen at centre ice was NOT following the play so patrons could see the game. This is essential and every other Arena I have been to has this in operation, I don't want to see commercials WE want to see the game!!
Negatives to the arena: Need to invest in proper hockey net pegs (2 disallowed goals and plenty of stoppages in play due to the nets coming off with mild bumps). Clean the glass along the boards. Wooded step in section 19 loose. Expensive and worst popcorn known to man. Positives: Clean facility including washrooms. Beer stands nearby and priced nicely. No problem showing controversial replays. Advertising not shoved down our throats. Friendly staff. Decent intermission activities. Piano player in lobby different, but a nice touch. Firebirds seem to be a decent team. Great fan enthusiasm.
