About

With 10 multi-platinum albums and 16 Top 30 hits, FOREIGNER is universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world with a formidable musical arsenal that continues to propel sold-out tours and album sales, now exceeding 80 million.

Responsible for some of rock and roll's most enduring anthems including "Juke Box Hero," "Cold As Ice," "Hot Blooded," "Waiting For A Girl Like You," "Feels Like The First Time," "Urgent," "Head Games," "Say You Will," "Dirty White Boy," "Long, Long Way From Home" and the worldwide #1 hit, "I Want To Know What Love Is," FOREIGNER still rocks the charts more than 40 years into the game with massive airplay and continued Billboard Top 200 album success. Audio and video streams of FOREIGNER's hits are approaching 15 million per week.

With more Top 10 songs than Journey and as many as Fleetwood Mac, FOREIGNER also features strongly in every category in Billboard's "Greatest of All Time" listing. At times, the band's weekly catalog sales have eclipsed those of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Aerosmith, and most of their Classic Rock peers (Source:MusiConnect). FOREIGNER's catalog sales were recently celebrated in Business Insider as hitting the Top 40 among the Best Selling Music Artists of All Time.

FOREIGNER's founder is Songwriters Hall of Fame member Mick Jones, a visionary maestro whose stylistic songwriting, indelible guitar hooks, and multi-layered talents continue to escalate FOREIGNER's influence and guide the band to new horizons. Jones reformed the band after a 2002 hiatus and selected lead singer Kelly Hansen to help write an inspired new chapter in the history of FOREIGNER. One of rock's greatest showmen, Hansen is among the most respected, consummate professionals in rock and roll. With a 40-year career that spans almost every area of music, from the role of lead vocalist to producing and engineering, Hansen has led FOREIGNER into the digital age while inspiring a whole new generation of fans.

FOREIGNER's lineup also includes noted Dokken bassist Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein on keyboards, guitarist Bruce Watson, Chris Frazier on drums and guitarist Luis Carlos Maldonado. An unprecedented new level of energy led the group to a re-emergence of astounding music that speaks to FOREIGNER's enduring popularity.

FOREIGNER recently announced the beginning of their Farewell Tour on national television. The tour will commence on July 6th, 2023 in Atlanta, GA and is expected to take two years or so to complete. The goal is to visit all the cities where the band has played since its reformation in 2004.

They were an amazing group of musicians and entertainers. Playing multiple instruments with each member getting a solo opportunity!! Played ALL the hits and engaged with the crowd as if they were friends and family!! If you get a chance, Foreigner is a MUST see!!

Venue was fabulous. I highly recommend concerts at winsport.

  • The overall was good, but the venue gets a big fail

For anyone who enjoys an alcoholic beverage while watching a show should avoid the winsport arena as beverage choices are very limited.

Great. Great. Great. Excellent venue as well. 54/40 was wonderful to see again!

  • Great opener, adequate main, horrible parking

by Darren on 2025-11-09WinSport Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

This is a full “Band of Theseus”, so the hope would be that they would stay true to the originals. Vocals and instrumentals were super. They seemed to really want to be a jam band at times, though, so not really what I was looking for. 5440 was great—lots of energy and gave exactly what I hoped for—Canadian legends. Parking at this location is truly a horror show. They need to design more ways out of that parking lot or I’m not going back to Winsport for another show.

  • Top notch

by Les on 2025-11-09WinSport Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

A fantastic concert in a great venue at Winsport. 54 40 was excellent and Foreigner delivered a great show. A very nice tribute to Canada and the respect they have for our country in these challenging times. An absolute great performance of Bridge Over Troubled Water. The new lead singer was very solid.

  • Great Bands, not so great venue

by Juke Box Hero on 2025-11-09WinSport Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

5440 and Foreigner were awesome but the venue sucked. Parking in a dirt lot for $10.00 was not cool. Floor seating was not marked well, everyone was wondering what seat and row and there were no ushers there to help, just security everywhere. Sound was not up to par either. Would not return for a concert at that venue.

  • Amazing and Entertaining, brings me back to my childhood.

by Maverick on 2025-11-09WinSport Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Had a great view of the stage, the venue was perfect, not to big. And the music was so amazing and brought me back to a time when this world made sense.

I have seen foreigner many times, although I enjoyed the new recent singer. I thought the last singer was a bit better. Overall, a fantastic show.

It’s was exciting and very relatable. Love they incorporated and used local kids & entertainer’s into their concert.

  • Great time and so nostalgic.

by Guppy on 2025-11-05Thunder Bay Community Auditorium - Thunder BayRating: 4 out of 5

A classic rock and roll style concert for those of us who remember what that was like. So glad some bands are willing to play at smaller venues such as the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium. Personally, not a fan of drum and/or keyboard solos ... would rather hear another full band song or 2. Foreigner adding a hometown young choir from an elementary school for their encore was a really cool thing to behold. The sound was great and the kids will have memories forever! Very glad to have gone to this condert. Knock off another one from my bucket list!

  • I really enjoy it

54/40 was the opener and wow, I was impressed They sounded almost the same, and they put on a great show as well. Foreigner came out rocking and continued for the entire show. I was very impressed by their performance and high energy. Thank you.

  • Great show and great opener

Had a great time at the concert! The music invokes nostalgia and the fun girl beside me gave everyone quite a show! We need more girls like her!

  • Absolutely a fantastic show. I'm really glad I was there.

by Science Mike on 2025-11-03Slush Puppie Place - KingstonRating: 5 out of 5

A perfect show! Foreigner's dedication to helping youth in music by lobbying for schools to maintain music programs is very admirable! Only afterwards did I learn they are huge proponents of this. They also brought out a local youth vocal company to provide backups during the second last song. I was very impressed. Their set list from top to bottom was everything I wanted to hear and all song were performed perfectly. If they are ever back in Eastern Ontario, I will be there....

  • Great concert

by Linrho on 2025-11-02The Arena at TD Place - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

The Foreigner group was excellent, the band is amazing. The addition of Jordy Browne was a bonus. The warm up group 54 40 were outstanding!!! Enjoyed the warmth of both acts from their interaction and talking with the audience. Only negative to this venue was the very tiny tight seats on the none floor areas. The aisle are so tight together you had no leg room at all and I am only 5ft2 so my legs are not long! We were very happy to stand up as often as possible but did notice others who had issues fitting into these seats. That's the TD Place's issue.
