About

With 10 multi-platinum albums and 16 Top 30 hits, FOREIGNER is universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world with a formidable musical arsenal that continues to propel sold-out tours and album sales, now exceeding 80 million.

Responsible for some of rock and roll's most enduring anthems including "Juke Box Hero," "Cold As Ice," "Hot Blooded," "Waiting For A Girl Like You," "Feels Like The First Time," "Urgent," "Head Games," "Say You Will," "Dirty White Boy," "Long, Long Way From Home" and the worldwide #1 hit, "I Want To Know What Love Is," FOREIGNER still rocks the charts more than 40 years into the game with massive airplay and continued Billboard Top 200 album success. Audio and video streams of FOREIGNER's hits are approaching 15 million per week.

With more Top 10 songs than Journey and as many as Fleetwood Mac, FOREIGNER also features strongly in every category in Billboard's "Greatest of All Time" listing. At times, the band's weekly catalog sales have eclipsed those of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Aerosmith, and most of their Classic Rock peers (Source:MusiConnect). FOREIGNER's catalog sales were recently celebrated in Business Insider as hitting the Top 40 among the Best Selling Music Artists of All Time.

FOREIGNER's founder is Songwriters Hall of Fame member Mick Jones, a visionary maestro whose stylistic songwriting, indelible guitar hooks, and multi-layered talents continue to escalate FOREIGNER's influence and guide the band to new horizons. Jones reformed the band after a 2002 hiatus and selected lead singer Kelly Hansen to help write an inspired new chapter in the history of FOREIGNER. One of rock's greatest showmen, Hansen is among the most respected, consummate professionals in rock and roll. With a 40-year career that spans almost every area of music, from the role of lead vocalist to producing and engineering, Hansen has led FOREIGNER into the digital age while inspiring a whole new generation of fans.

FOREIGNER's lineup also includes noted Dokken bassist Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein on keyboards, guitarist Bruce Watson, Chris Frazier on drums and guitarist Luis Carlos Maldonado. An unprecedented new level of energy led the group to a re-emergence of astounding music that speaks to FOREIGNER's enduring popularity.

FOREIGNER recently announced the beginning of their Farewell Tour on national television. The tour will commence on July 6th, 2023 in Atlanta, GA and is expected to take two years or so to complete. The goal is to visit all the cities where the band has played since its reformation in 2004.

by irishandlovinit on 2010-02-20Casino Rama - Orillia

This band is back. It was so full of energy. Loved seeing it at Casino Rama. In a smaller place it is much more personal. The band looked like they had fun too. When each member did their solos I was amazed. They are ALL really professional and multi talented.

    Mick's still got it!!

by PinnCraig on 2010-02-20Casino Rama - Orillia

Mick showed a sold out, 5000 seat venue, that he can still play. What an evening! Kelly Hansen did a superb job with the vocals, hitting all the notes and feeding off the audience. If Foreigner comes back to Casino Rama, I know I'll be lined up to get my tickets. And I suggest you do the same!!! What a show!!

    FOREIGNER!!!!!!!!!WOW

by karenatimagine on 2010-02-20Casino Rama - Orillia

Casino Rama - way to go!! Last night was the night, been waiting and counting the days since Jan 09 /2010 - I joked a few times about Foreigner being on my "Bucket List", not that health is an issue, but after last night...I could of said "O.K take me away, I've seen them, I'm done" What an absolutely awesome concert, all of the guys are just perfect together - energy was explosive by the band and the audience. I worked my way to the stage and man oh man!!! I might be 44, happily married and with three kids, however ,I joked to my 17 year old, as my husband and I were on our way out the door, that if I didn't make it home tonight it meant that I had to go on tour with the guys, I've never been a groupie - but hey it's never too late - he laughed and thought I was nuts - Music is magic-it keeps us young - thx FOREIGNER - last night will stay with me for a long time. - I wish I was going again tonight - it wouldn't take much convincing - only this time I might make a big fool of myself and try to get on the stage -HA HA. ......SEE THEM IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE!!!....Also get their 3 Cd/set , I'd say possibly 5 of their new songs are gonna hit the charts - way to go FOREIGNER!!!

This is the second time I have seen Foreigner at Casino Rama and they were fantastic. It was a sold out show. They did all their old hits, a couple of new ones - and the lead singer really got the crowd into the show. The guitars, the sax, the drummer, keyboards GREAT! The dummer did a solo - all I can say is what a drummer! I will go back again and again!!

    Best Concert Ever

by Marriedawop on 2010-02-20Casino Rama - Orillia

My husband and I both agreed that this was the best concert we have seen. Brought my hubby right back to his youth. The lead singer Kelly has brought so much energy and enthusiasm to the concert and the drummer - how did he not hurt his hands :) The entire group was amazing, we were trying to get tickets to go back again tonight to see them. Anytime Foreigner is in Ontario- we are GOING- can't wait to take our daughter, too bad she would have had to be 19 to go see them at rama- she is only 18 and this concert would definitely have made the group a new fan. Thanks guys :)

    Foreigner is alive and Rockin!

by trfish on 2010-02-20Casino Rama - Orillia

Wow, better than expected. Mick Jones has surrounded himself with some very talented younger mates who know how to rock. A lively set of favourites, with audience involvement, and twists along the way. Kelly Hansen is the perfect fit as their front man, ideal voice and energy to spare. I would have to say they are harder and edgier than the all originals.

    terrific concert!

by canaan on 2010-02-20Casino Rama - Orillia

Wow, talk about a walk through my childhood and angst filled teenage days. Listening to the many hits that this band has produced over the years was a sheer joy. The lead singer was a true showman and even went rockin amongst the crowd. Talk about getting in touch with your audience. Well done!

    Foreigner was fantastik !!

by FarmNan on 2009-08-26Concerts At Marymoor - Redmond

It was an unforgettable experience. Foreigner is one of my favorite bands from the 70's/80's it was a thrill to finally have the opportunity to hear them play live in 2009. Although I missed not hearing and seeing Lou Gram, it was still a great show. The concert venue at Marymoor Park in Redmond, Washington was very comfortable and provided good sound and a pleasant surroundings. I would love to see Foreigner play a little closer to home. I would not miss the opportunity to see Foreigner play again.
