About

With 10 multi-platinum albums and 16 Top 30 hits, FOREIGNER is universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world with a formidable musical arsenal that continues to propel sold-out tours and album sales, now exceeding 80 million.

Responsible for some of rock and roll's most enduring anthems including "Juke Box Hero," "Cold As Ice," "Hot Blooded," "Waiting For A Girl Like You," "Feels Like The First Time," "Urgent," "Head Games," "Say You Will," "Dirty White Boy," "Long, Long Way From Home" and the worldwide #1 hit, "I Want To Know What Love Is," FOREIGNER still rocks the charts more than 40 years into the game with massive airplay and continued Billboard Top 200 album success. Audio and video streams of FOREIGNER's hits are approaching 15 million per week.

With more Top 10 songs than Journey and as many as Fleetwood Mac, FOREIGNER also features strongly in every category in Billboard's "Greatest of All Time" listing. At times, the band's weekly catalog sales have eclipsed those of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Aerosmith, and most of their Classic Rock peers (Source:MusiConnect). FOREIGNER's catalog sales were recently celebrated in Business Insider as hitting the Top 40 among the Best Selling Music Artists of All Time.

FOREIGNER's founder is Songwriters Hall of Fame member Mick Jones, a visionary maestro whose stylistic songwriting, indelible guitar hooks, and multi-layered talents continue to escalate FOREIGNER's influence and guide the band to new horizons. Jones reformed the band after a 2002 hiatus and selected lead singer Kelly Hansen to help write an inspired new chapter in the history of FOREIGNER. One of rock's greatest showmen, Hansen is among the most respected, consummate professionals in rock and roll. With a 40-year career that spans almost every area of music, from the role of lead vocalist to producing and engineering, Hansen has led FOREIGNER into the digital age while inspiring a whole new generation of fans.

FOREIGNER's lineup also includes noted Dokken bassist Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein on keyboards, guitarist Bruce Watson, Chris Frazier on drums and guitarist Luis Carlos Maldonado. An unprecedented new level of energy led the group to a re-emergence of astounding music that speaks to FOREIGNER's enduring popularity.

FOREIGNER recently announced the beginning of their Farewell Tour on national television. The tour will commence on July 6th, 2023 in Atlanta, GA and is expected to take two years or so to complete. The goal is to visit all the cities where the band has played since its reformation in 2004.

    Better than expected

    by Older2 on 2010-03-16Casino Rama - Orillia

We enjoyed the Foreigner concert at Casino Rama immensely. Good selection of music of old favourites as well as introducing some new songs from their newest CD. The lead singer was especially very funny and entertaining. Really got the crowd going! The concert was better than we expected and also lasted longer. Sure got our money's worth.

    Foreigner was in top form!

by Murph on 2010-02-24Casino Rama - Orillia

Mick Taylor was there and he is the man. He has put together a team that truly delivers the real Foreigner. Am a big fan, saw them in the 70's have all the LP's (that says it all!) and let me tell you, Foreigner was in da house!!

    Foreigner: Flash from the past

An overall good show. Only played one of their new tunes. Everybody was there to hear the oldies, and they delivered. Rocked for an hour and a half.

by bajan on 2010-02-23Casino Rama - Orillia

The whole show was so well put together and so mch fun. All the musicians were excellent. I have always loved the group and even though, Mike Jones is the only original, the others make the music real. I hope they continue to hit the top. Definitely will recomend the show and I will buy all the CDs.

    Foreigner was a class act

by Dnamron on 2010-02-23Casino Rama - Orillia

Musicians were exceptional, showmanship and special effects were excellent, and the studio quality sound was great. The group was successful in stimulating participation of the audience. On the down side I found the keyboard and drum solos were too long, and the set list of 13 songs including the solos was way too short. The duration was approx. 1:35 hours and should have been closer to 2:00 hours, to fully satisfy. More songs could have included "Can't slow down" from their new album, as well as other hits such as "I don't want to live without you" and "That was yesterday" for the mellower portion of the audience. I would attend another one of their concerts. PS: I attended a "Lou Gramm Band, the music of Foreigner" concert at the Mattawa Voyageur Days in 2008, and I would suggest that you consider them.

    Foreigner is better than ever!

by kidsandcows on 2010-02-23Casino Rama - Orillia

Mick Jones is a genius! To take an 80's band, replace most of the original musicians and have the band sounding as good or better than the original to me, is amazing. It was a high energy show with them playing all the favourites and even a new release (which was really good). Would go see them again in a heartbeat!

    FOREIGNER awsome show

by Redjay on 2010-02-22Casino Rama - Orillia

This was a show and a 1/2 Incredible. Nik was as fine as ever..The drummer..infrickin credible...great show, Loved the bass player...the keyboards were awsome and the guitars and sax undescribable. One flaw in my mind. The keyboard synthisizer solo was totally out of sync with the rest of the show. put a stopper on it and although very talented and performed impecibly..not a good addition..give the guy a solo in a song but he totally redirected the energy for those moments. The new song sounded like it couold have very easily fit on any of the early albums time wise and was a well written and greatly performed piece of brilliance

    forever foreigner

    by Madmax66 on 2010-02-22Casino Rama - Orillia

An absolutely incredible performance by each and every member of the band. I'd close my eyes at times and remember years ago when I had seen Foreigner live, it brings back great memories. There is ever so slightly a twist to the there overall sound, performers of course that just brings it to life. The vocals were roaring with energy, the lead guitar just gave shivers with all his articulate solo's, the drummer sounded as though he was playing for the thunder gods! as for the rest of the band, bass,guitar-piccolo flute-sax and mr eighty-eight fingers on the key's nothing less than an amazing performance. What I really enjoyed of all was that they showed something that's missed by alot of performer's on stage today and that is passion, talent and simply having the time of your life. My hat's off to you gentleman and I truly look forward to seeing you again when you return to Toronto. Wishing you all a safe and tremendous journey Ahead! Madmax66

Foreigner show at Rama was truly awesome, had you shaking your booties right off the first cord! There is an intimate quality about attending Rama shows, - everyone there can feel involved in the show if the musicians presenting choose to invite that intimacy, which this group surely did!

    Great Band - OK Venue

by pleasuretime on 2010-02-22Casino Rama - Orillia

Amazing music, great performance by the band. They played most of their big hits, without a break. Very entertaining group, full of energy, played up to the audience, dead-on sound, just like their hit records. I would definitely see them again. The venue wasn't the greatest, our seats were in F level - which at Casino Rama means small chairs sitting on flat concrete floor. Had to dodge other people's heads in order to see.

    Foreigner was amazing!!!

by TeddyBearTattoo on 2010-02-22Casino Rama - Orillia

Foreigner was amazing!!! Too bad the crowd didn't get "into" the concert until halfway through. I guess the "over 50 crowd" isn't as energetic as it used to be!!! Their encore "Hot Blooded", finally, got everyone up out of their seats - I guess the Geritol, finally, kicked in!!!
