Franz banged through 17 hits in less than 90 minutes. Show was excellent, and our seats in the mezzanine at History were pretty good too. 10/10, hope they play here again!

The show and setlist was amazing, the band is truly going hard at this point even with a lot of member turnover by now. Wow did security ever drop the ball though, there were mounting problems with violently rowdy crowd members, with several people in the crowd calling for security to help with, and despite making clear eye contact, they just shrugged and let it get worse. Truly poor job and a waste of staffing.

Franz Ferdinand was huge in our household. Their debut album represented THE soundtrack to the summer of 2004. Their follow up album was solid too. The concert didn’t disappoint and provided an entertaining trip down memory lane. Still a high energy band with a well choreographed stage show but very little new or interesting to offer other than highlights from 18 years ago, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Really great energy from the band. Engaging, friendly and they put on an awesome show! The venue was really good too, not too big and not too small.

We had that much fun and excitement that my heart was close to stop beating during the concert. Thank you so much. I just think that sound was a little bit distorted but maybe this was because we were standing so close to speakers.

What an amazing concert! FF is simply great live and they're all very professional. Alex spoke in french which I found very sweet and a little funny. They were very energetic throughout the whole concert. I also loved the fact that they played their classics but also some of their new songs that were in fact, catchy, fun and carried that Franz Ferdinand sound that we all love. I thought it was very sweet of Alex to interact with the audience the way he did, when we locked eyes he would smile. It was great to see the whole band so close, something you can only do at the Metropolis.

The most high energy show I've been to. Franz Ferdinand was so interactive and engaging with the audience. Definitely will have to see them again in the future.

Scottish dance pop rockers Franz Ferdinand brought a real party atmosphere to the Commodore Ballroom last Friday night(April 25th). The band kicked off with the fast paced "Bullet" from their most recent release "Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action" and the band did not slow down until they left the stage. All the fans on the dance floor also danced non-stop to pretty much every song. However the one that got everyone jumping(and I mean literally jumping)up and down was their first big hit "Take Me Out" from their debut album. Other highlights included: Stand On The Horizon, The Dark Of The Matinee, Michael, Do You Want To, Love Illumination and "Darts Of Pleasure"(which a fan wrote a sign for them to play which they did even though it wasn't on the original setlist). "Outsiders" was also particularly memorable with all band members grabbing a pair of sticks and banging on the drums simultaneously. It was absolutely amazing! Finally they did a blistering version of "This Fire" during the encore and ended with the appropriately titled "Goodbye Lovers and Friends". Everyone left invigorated and completely satisfied including myself. Will definitely go see them again!

Franz Ferdinand never ceases to amaze with their professionalism and sense of rhythm. They are soooo tight! Spot on in terms of timing, and deliver a performance that will stick in your mind for tears to come. See them once, you'll want to buy a lifetime membership to their concerts, even if you're not such a big fan of the albums. Somehow, the energy is always doubled at the concerts.

I have seen Franz Ferdinand before at Malkin Bowl, and they certainly rocked, but in the smaller more club-like space at the Commodore, the effect was unbelievable. EVERYBODY was dancing and rocking out, what a great pumped-up show these guys put on!! Such a great experience for the audience..

it was incredible. they are better live than anyone else i have heard in concert. also they played a huge set so basically every song i could have wanted to hear was played. they had energy and they are so talented. awesome show
