Franz Ferdinand rocks the Commodore!

The band kicked off with the fast paced "Bullet" from their most recent release "Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action" and the band did not slow down until they left the stage. All the fans on the dance floor also danced non-stop to pretty much every song. However the one that got everyone jumping(and I mean literally jumping)up and down was their first big hit "Take Me Out" from their debut album. Other highlights included: Stand On The Horizon, The Dark Of The Matinee, Michael, Do You Want To, Love Illumination and "Darts Of Pleasure"(which a fan wrote a sign for them to play which they did even though it wasn't on the original setlist). "Outsiders" was also particularly memorable with all band members grabbing a pair of sticks and banging on the drums simultaneously. It was absolutely amazing! Finally they did a blistering version of "This Fire" during the encore and ended with the appropriately titled "Goodbye Lovers and Friends". Everyone left invigorated and completely satisfied including myself. Will definitely go see them again!
