An amazing concert night against a beautiful backdrop

by GameOfWhoa! on 2019-09-15Budweiser Stage - Toronto

This was an amazing experience that I had been looking forward to for months. The arrangements were beautiful, and interspersed with footage from the show made it all that much more special. These musicians are truly talented! And the venue was perfect as sitting at the lawn, cozied up in a blanket in our lawn seating with the stars above and city in the background made it a truly one-of-a-kind experience. The only negative note was regarding the venue: $30 for parking is INSANE and only one entry open for parking made it absolutely awful to get in there. And then once you get in they gouge you even more than usual for drinks and food. They should feel ashamed to be charging people these prices.

Great show. Much like last time.

by Alex on 2019-09-11Budweiser Stage - Toronto

Missed Ramin on stage. Goosebumps over goosebumps with each piece. Wonderful work by lead vocalist, cellist and violinist, to say the least

    Marvellous and Nostalgic

by Koonull on 2019-09-09Budweiser Stage - Toronto

It was thrilling and nostalgic experience to relive all the 8 seasons of Game of Thrones with only the music. All the musicians were stupendous and could easily appreciate all instruments. Disappointed with non-presence of Ramin Djwadi. The event description should clearly mention if he is coming or not.

    Game of Thrones Symphonic Spectacular

    by D. L. on 2019-09-09Budweiser Stage - Toronto

The symphony was absolutely wonderful. The GoT back drop of the series, was done very well. Watching the series, we were not aware of all of the spectacular soundtrack. A performance not to be forgotten.

Comparing to this at the Acc

by Riya on 2019-09-09Budweiser Stage - Toronto

The music was great, as expected. But this types of shows are probably not for Budweiser stage. We had front row tickets at 201 section and it is sad to say that the view turned out to be obstructed. I ve seen many shows from simular sits and it was quite upsetting that for this one- it was not giving the justice to the music. Another point to mention that i understand oriinally there were planned sits for vip ( devided to nobel houses) and honoured guests ( bannerman) and i was sad to see that for 100 section everyone were cramped together. * parking was a nightmare, as onsite parking still had spaces but was closed for reason we were not told ( parking staff politeness could use an improvement). Music and musicians-solid 4. Venue and parking for this show only- 2.5

    Great concert

    by TG89 on 2019-09-09Budweiser Stage - Toronto

Money well spent. Even if it was an outdoor stage, the sounds were really good. Performance by the team was outstanding. Really enjoyed.

    Great Show!

    by K. P. on 2019-09-09Budweiser Stage - Toronto

The Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience fell nothing short of my expectations. It was a great show. The only problem was the venue. I believe this show should have been held at the Sony Centre or the Scotiabank arena as the Budweiser Stage was definitely not an appropriate venue for this type of event since it is outside. The show overall was great and it was evident that the musicians were very passionate. Overall great show.

    Great experience with minor hiccups

by Ranaessance on 2019-09-09Budweiser Stage - Toronto

Overall, it was a great concert, even if Ramin Djawadi wasn't conducting (I believe he was the conductor when the tour first came about a couple of years ago). The orchestra, the singers, the choir and the projection were all on-point. It was fun listening to the music pieces with other fans of the show, the In-Memoriam segment and the audience reaction towards the end was hilarious. However, there were minor issues with sound and camera work at certain points, e.g., it was difficult to make out the words of the first half of "The Rains of Castamere" because the singer's mic was much quieter than the orchestra, one of the camera guys had trouble panning to different sections of the orchestra so the screens kept on showing the same band member. Again, it was a great experience overall, it felt complete since they were able to cover the entire series, now that it has concluded.

Music was awesome. The venue was horrible.

by Rowantreee on 2019-09-09Budweiser Stage - Toronto

The music was awesome! 5 stars for the orchestra's performance. However, they should have kept the audio of the video show on MUTE as I went to hear the live music, not excerpts of the show. I can watch GOT anytime on Crave. Most times, the talking was louder than the music. Generally speaking the experience was also crappy due to the venue (Budweiser Stadium) where ignorant people didn't know what the start time of the show was, thus showing up 30-45 minutes after start time (and I'm not talking 1 to 2 people, and no, they didn't arrive all at the same time). Combine this with people constantly coming and going throughout the show to get their booze or whatever. As such I could not enjoy the experience having to repeatedly stand up to let people by, or people literally standing right in front of me while they tried to read their ticket in the dark. I paid over $100 for my ticket for a subpar experience. Next time I'll just buy tickets for the lawn.

by MelC on 2019-09-09Budweiser Stage - Toronto

I brought my so. Who is a huge GoT fan (myself as well). It was amazing, awesome, fantastic! I would go and see the show again and again. The musics was so well done and played. It was entertaining and so enjoyable!
