Gary Clark Jr. & The Wild Feathers

by Forerunner2 on 2013-11-22The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Great show & great sound. The Wild Feathers were good too. And, played for a whole hour.:) As far as Gary Clark Jr., his show was what I expected. A mix of EVERY type of music & he played his music & other great tunes. ALL in his own style. What was so refreshing about both acts was that there were no smoke, pyro, etc. It was just good, talented musicians playing their instruments with talent, love & conviction.

    Disappointing

by Peejhey on 2013-11-21The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

I've heard so much about Gary Clark Jr. I like his album. I thought he'd have some fire in a live setting but it was just middle of the road the whole way through with one or two bursts of energy. Really wanted to like it but the show was...meh

    Master

by Kalina on 2013-10-12Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

One of the best concerts I've been to. The commodore is as always, an amazing place to host a show. Gary Clark and his band were phenomenal. I love the fact that it was a completely sold out show and everyone in the room was just jamming out to some smooth blues.

    amazing venue & great show!

by angiec on 2013-10-10Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

The opening act - The Monophonics - stole the show! They came out with amazing energy and really kicked off the night. Of course Gary Clark Jr. was also great, his solo guitar jams were incredible and he sounds just as good as he does on his album. Absolutely worth the ticket price - I'd have paid double and then some.

Gary Clarke Jr., Second Time this year !

by Gattco on 2013-10-10Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

I first saw Gary Clarke Jr in Mayas the opening act for Eric Clapton at the Royal Albert Hall in London, This time he was just as good as the first time he played his new album Black and Blue. A mufti dimensional artist that can take on the persona of A Jimmy Hendrix ,go into a BB King Bluesy number and a romantic song with a voice similar to a young Micheal Jaclkson. He definitely is getting better with age and who knows what music he will invent for the many years to come, A definite artist to put on your bucket list
