Seeing Chan Live

So I’m a little biased, she goes so far beyond blue eyed soul for me. You can hear the depths of her heart when she sings, Chan (pronounced “Shawn”) is hands down one of the best performers in my eyes, and seeing her made my life.
Terrible sound mix

I been to the Danforth Music Hall before for many bands and I know it can be crystal clear. Given that both of the performers on this line-up were really dependent on their song lyrics - it was such a waste of their time ( and my money). It was just a mush of noise and we left early.

Except for the times when she went to the sides of the stage and she was in total darkness. Opening act Arsun was great.
Feline ferocity

Her songs are beautiful and her voice amazing. I especially loved the stage-lighting, she was back lit to giver her appearance that of a silhouette. I thought quite clever. Her band was solid as well.
Most disappointing show of 2019 for me (out of 40+ shows)
