    Excellent performance

by Paul 1945 on 2020-03-10Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Bears Den - Niagara Falls

Gary at 73 yrs old still can belt out his many hits plus sing songs from other artists extremely well. His joy of being onstage is contagious and he really interacts well with the audience. A fun event and we would go back to see he and his well grooved group perform again. Well worth the money. Paul in Toronto

    Great Show!

    by seb19 on 2013-04-10Deerfoot Inn & Casino - Calgary

Fantastic show, great set list, good energy from the performers! I was most likely the youngest person there, but its not hard to appreciate fun oldies tunes. Didn't stay in my seat very long, we had to get up and dance :)

Gary Lewis Brings Back 60's Memories

by Hofner1 on 2010-06-20Silver Dollar Casino - Calgary

Gary Lewis and his band the Plalyboys played a cool set of his songs plus a few 'covers' last night. Now, I must admit that back in his heyday he 'covered' quite a number of songs but usually managed to make them his own anyhow. Gary's voice shows the strain at times but you couldn't deny the passion and energy he bought forth. The band were tight and most of the other members managed to belt out a song or two of their own. This time around Gary had bought allow a couple of 'video' packages which he projected onto a wall. They showed some of his earliest moments with his dad (Jerry Lewis, of course) and his acting appearances. A cool touch I thought. He came out after the show to greet and sign which I always fine memorable and adds a touch of class.

Gary Lewis "The Ambassador" of Sixties R&R

by McChrome on 2010-06-20Silver Dollar Casino - Calgary

This was the second time we have seen Gary Lewis and the Playboys at the Silver Dollar. He was my favourite singer when I was a teenager. The passion and energy that he brings to the show is transcends to the audience. It is great to relive one's youth through the music and memories of the 60's by a performer who had such an influence. Rock On Gary!!!!!

    Gary's show was dynamite !!!!!

by tgriffith on 2010-06-20Silver Dollar Casino - Calgary

I arrived at the venue at 7:10pm and immediately explained to the security guard that I have a bad back, is there somewhere where I can get a chair. He rushed around and found one for me so the waiting in line was heavenly right off the bat. I loved Jerry Lewis as a child so to see clips and footage of Jerry and Gary on a side screen, was also a great way to pass the time. The actual show was more powerful and entertaining that I could possibly explain here. It takes you back to a wonderful time in life where things were more gentle and carefree. I loved the music, the ambience, and the singing. I loved being so close to my childhood idol and listening to his music in person. My first name is Tina and when Gary sang the sang named after me, well, I almost cried. I loved it. I've always pretended that he was singing that for just me and last night was no exception. The show was absolutely wonderful. You could have charged $100 bucks per person and I still would have gone. I can't wait for them to come back again. good show !!

Show was very good. Billy J Kramer was having voice problems, could not reach some notes and could not keep his note steady.
