  • Loved every moment

I have been a Genesis / Phil Collins fan my whole life! We flew from NS to Toronto for this concert. With all of the Covid restrictions I felt very safe at the Scotiabank Arena. It was a wonderful concert, they played for about 2-1/2 hours! The stage and lighting was awesome! And for 70, Phil's voice was great!

  • wonderful night out

we have been fans since the 70s, so it was great to see them one last time....gut wrenching to see Phil with a cane, and most of his voice gone....but Mike and Tony, accompanied by Daryl, were perfection......the light show was great too

  • HE should not be preforming

The show sucked! left after 2 songs. Phil couldn't hit a note and didn't play the drums. Big let down. Asking anyone to pay to hear him sit on a stool and slap a tambourine is ridiculous. They should not be touring.

  • Genesis Concert Toronto Nov 25 2021

Genesis concert was exceptional!!! Would gladly go again to see Phil Collins and group but would pick different seats. We were on the floor and it was much louder than we anticipated, plus people in front of us stood up for the entire concert.

  • Genesis...Too Little Too Late?

by SuneelU on 2021-12-02Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

Happy to be back to live shows after a two year COVID hiatus...Sadly my expectations were maybe too high and not met...A band of Genesis' stature shouldn't have had to resort to cheap audience engagement tricks like they did (endlessly?), prolonged musical runs, shadow backup vocals to cover Phil, and some major misses from the songbook (Abacab, Misunderstanding, etc.)...Compared to prior Phil C shows, this was a pretty lacklustre (disappointingly)...Left early to beat the crowds... Time for them to hang it up methinks...

This is the first concert since Covid that I have attended! I was a little apprehensive in going and once I was there, I realized how much I missed live performances! My friends and I didn’t want to miss the opportunity of seeing Genesis and they didn’t disappoint! Thanks to Scotiabank in making a safe concert happen!!

  • Nothing less than perfection

Genesis have been my all time favourite band for years. I’m a young fan at 23 and this was my first time getting to see them. We got the I Can’t Dance VIP package. Seeing them was a dream come true for me. It doesn’t get much better than them, because it can’t. I do hope to see them again, but I’m extremely grateful to have seen them the once. The light show was killer, the band was on point, and Phil’s vocals were killing it. The whole show in every aspect was 1000 out of 10.

Great Concert!! Was so fun. 2 1/2 hours of plain enjoyment. Phil Colins has still got it.

  • Purely fantastic!

True talent! These guys were purely amazing. Despite Phil Collins health issues, the performance and show quality were exactly what you would expect from Genesis. Kudos to all the extended band too. I am so happy I’ve been to this show! I also bought the four LP set of the tour, and it is so cool too: it features images from rehearsal (I guess) which are almost identical from the live show, so it will keep you memories alive. Thank you Genesis from the bottom of my heart!
