    It's Always Something was special!

by Menanno on 2015-11-21Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

An important event for a very valuable cause. Guilda's Club leaves no family member behind in the comprehensive care and compassion for those facing cancer. A one of a kind place. The talent and audience for the evening was as diverse as the people being impacted by cancer.

The two of us thought it was a very good show. It started pretty much on time, it had good pacing, the acts were entertaining and enjoyable, we had some good laughs, we appreciated the moving speech and the cause, but we left at intermission. When I ordered the tickets I saw only Russell Peters' face on the ad. I think. So I thought I had ordered tickets to Russell Peters, not a variety of acts. That was our problem, not yours. Thanks for asking.

    Meh

by Anonymous on 2014-11-23Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Yes for a good cause but performances were nothing to write home about. Russell Peters was great - would have preferred a full show of just him! Long corporate thanking speeches - send them a fruit basket next time. The average person doesn't care to hear how great BMO & Scotia & The Keg are to the cause ... for half an hour.

A very enjoyable evening with lots of good laughs and excellent music. Who would think it would take me until 2013 to see Corey Hart! Loved Matt Dusk and Nikki Yanofsky too.

    Great Line Up of Performers

by IdolFanWoodbridge on 2012-11-19Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Unbelievable amount of talent on stage. The AUDIO system...was terrible and did no justice to the vocal performers.

It's Always Something!!! - really is!

by Sherr on 2012-11-19Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

I've wanted to attend the Gilda's Club fundraiser for many years and kept missing when the tickets went on sale. But not this year!! What a great event, very well done, kept moving, great entertainers who give of their time and talents for our enjoyment. This will definitely become an annual event for me. And to think I not only get entertained, but it's all for a very, very worthy cause! I ended up purchasing the music of 3 of the performers after the event!!

    It's Always Something was fun

by ronaldo22 on 2011-11-28Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

I bought these tickets for my wife and I to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. The main draw for me was to see Russell Peters live and he didn't disappoint. Very funny and had to ad lib a few times when there were delays with the next acts. Eugene Levy and Catherine O'hara were also very funny. Very much enjoyed the bands Lighthouse and Andy Kim. Martin Short came out last and was also very funny and sang a couple of songs. My wife and I were amazed by his voice. All in all I would highly recommend this show and the fact that the money went to a great cause didn't hurt.

    It's Always Something was amazing!

by Gigglepuss on 2011-11-24Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

My husband and I attended Saturday at Sony Centre and it was a night we'll both remember. Such an outstanding line-up of talent for such a great cause. Our favourite moments were "Bobby and Lola" and Martin Short. We both hope they all come back again!

Overall it was fun. russel Peters jokes were old. would've liked to see him do a bigger part. The other performers were good. Nice variety between dancers, performers, stand up and music. But more so for an older crowd than for 30 something and below. But the good thing is the proceeds went to charity

It's Always Something - and then some

by SoS0 on 2011-11-22Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Was very excited to see the line up of entertainment for the night. Having been to the Sony Centre before I knew that my seats would be great. There is not a bad seat in the house. Russell Peters was Fantastic. The musical line ups were really good, always love to see and hear Andy Kim. I was a little disappointed at the amount of time spent on speeches. Felt the after party would have made for a smaller more intimate venue for the long - somewhat personal speeches. All in all it was a date night for my husband and myself..that is always a good time.
